Had a Victory 12 last night. It put me to bed and tucked me in at about 11PM.

I think I will try Sam Adams Octoberfest this weekend. What does everyone think of it?

I have narrowed my selection for this weekend down to two choices. One is Sam Adams Octoberfest and the other is an oatmeal stout. Any reviews on Octoberfest or oatmeal stouts?

Eh the Octoberfest is pretty good, but I'd go oatmeal stout just because you dont see them as often.

I finally got my hands on some DFH Punkin Ale. Good shit.

My top 3 Pumpkin beers would have to be....

1. Saranac Pumpkin Ale

2. Weyerbacher's Imperial Pumpkin Ale

3. Dogfish Head Punkin Ale

I still haven't been able to find the Southern Tier Pumking.

Very disappointing, aftertaste was like burnt carmel. 4.5.

Best beer of the night was Great Lakes Nosferatu, 7.0.

Um, burnt caramel aftertaste sounds awesome?

I'm going to http://vewinebeer.com/ tomorrow after class to probably pick up some Pumking (I assume they'll have it).

Weird. I felt the opposite of that. I love the Palo Santo, while the Nosferatu was alright. Maybe I like burnt carmel.

Worth it IMHO. Highest rated beer thus far with Estrella Damm.

I got me a few bottles of Pumking. I also have on hand some Ommegang Rare Vos, six DFH India Brown Ales, and a whole fuck ton of my homebrew. I am getting shitty next weekend.

I plan on having one of those today, at my favorite burger place. Probably for desert, after I have a Chocolate Stout Burger. (Creamy Goat Cheese Folded into Chocolate Shavings and Cocoa Dust, Mayonnaise and Chocolate Stout Mushroom Sauce)

Nosferatu is good and its a kick ass looking label. I went with the new Guinness Dark Lager last night and was somewhat pleased considering Guinness usually sucks except straight out the tap.
