Thank goodness. I saw last night that I have one in my non-stash stash, but I wasn't sure if The Wife would be willing to part with it.justincredible;889904 wrote:Found it at Jungle Jim's.

They had about a hundred bottles of it, it seemed like. That was my first trip to Jungle Jim's in a few years. I forgot how awesome it was.

Also, not sure if you saw or if I even posted in the home brew thread, but my next batch of beer is going to be a pumpkin ale. Followed by a raspberry wheat. Assuming the batches all turn out well I'll have a few bottles from each batch for you guys, assuming you like the style.

I saw that and like all styles of beer for the most part. I look forward to trying them.justincredible;890090 wrote:Also, not sure if you saw or if I even posted in the home brew thread, but my next batch of beer is going to be a pumpkin ale. Okay tonight I started with the Sierra Nevada Torpedo...not as good as I remember. Maybe I'm getting too used to my Triple hoped IPA beers.
On to the Nosferatu strong ale. Very disappointing. Maybe the Torpedo blew out my taste buds. It just wasn't a Strong Ale IMO.
Next on the list is the Arcadia Hopmouth. I haven't had it yet so maybe I'll do a triple post later...or maybe I'll be passed out by then.

I laid down some cash and bought Omega 3 philosophers and DFH Palo Santo. Hope it's worth the price.

Short little article about 8 beers on the decline.

Pants, the Palo Santo is damn good. It also helps that it comes in at 12%. That is one of the few DFH's that I can find at my normal beer store.

I'm lucky that my GE carries the 60 minute, 90 minute, Midas Touch, Palo Santo, Raison D'etre, Namaste, Sah'tea. Had the Aprihop this spring so I'm hoping they get the Punkin ale here pretty soon. I've yet to try most of them still (had the 60 minute, 90 minute, and Raison D'etre).Curly J;896020 wrote:Short little article about 8 beers on the decline.

Watching the OSU game having my first GL Nosferatu of the fall. Downed a bottle of ST Pumking at the start of the game like nothing, easily one of my top 5 beers, going to be sad once the season is over and it's all gone. I picked up a bottle of Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura this afternoon to put on the shelf but couldn't resist and put it in the fridge 2 hours ago. I've been wanting to try the sour stout for a while now and excited to see what it's like. JP has impressed me over and over so I'm thinking it will be great.

I wish I could find ST Pumking and DFH Punkin Ale around here. I did have 6 Saranac Pumpkin Ales today. Mmmm....

As expected, I'm enjoying JP Madrugada Obscura Dark Dawn Stout very much. Very unique and extremely complex; sour, smokey, oak, chocolate, and fruity all in one. I'm sure I will be buying another to put on the shelf.

I had 2 O'doul's Amber with dinner. I had to wait to have a real beer until after I picked up The Wife from work.
Currently having a Red Rocket Ale. The is a Pumking chilling in the fridge that I know won't last the weekend.
Boris you're killing me with the JP's. I still haven't found it down here !!! I love me some sour beers !!!

The Pumking chilling in the fridge is now gone. I didn't notice, but The Bitch, I mean The Wife drank it while I was having my Red Rocket(s). I still have one in the stash and will be buying more tomorrow.

Lagunitas Bavarian-Styled Doppel Weizen and an Ayinger Oktober Fest-Marzen last night. The latter was VERY delicious.

Attended a beer tasting. Gordon Biersch had Marzen and Festbier, enjoyed them both. Put-in-Bay Brewery brought Watermelon Wheat and Pumpkin Ale. I skipped the Pumpkin which I don't like and had the Watermelon, way to sweet, maybe better when it's 95 out, not 65.

The Wife and I went to Jungle Jim's to get fixins for dinner. I snapped this shot while I was there. Look at all the Pumking !!!

They were putting out more DFH Punkin, so we grabbed a couple of 4 packs. I thought that I wouldn't see it the rest of this year.
