Picked up a bottle of Miles Davis Bitches Brew. I had it last year and wasn't all that impressed but giving it another shot.

Tonte, I drank a pint of Horse Piss. Name not totally inacurate. Imagine a horse that ate corn and butterscorch, then pissed. The head was highly suspect as well.
Then I was saved by a Dogfish head Burton Baton. at 10% abv it packed a wallop but hid the alchohol well. It had a nice citrus finish with a light oak aftertaste. I recommend for the IPA snobs. It s sure to please

Back in Ohio this weekend, went down to check out Thirsty Dog Brewery. Wanted to go to Hoppin Frog but they didn't open til 5, da faq?
Thirsty Dog was awesome, had Wulver on tap, and Barrel Aged Cerebus plus their christmas and pumpkin ale. All were fantastic. Wanted to get a t-shirt but they only had XXL.
Drank a shit ton this weekend, and got my pumpkin fix in. I've also decided that Midwest pwns the West Coast breweries outside of Firestone Walker. I would give up any other brewery to have founders, Bell's and Thirsty Dog in California.

Founders, Bells and Three Floyds are pretty damn solid. I don't know if I would give them up.
