I concur. Not that great of a beer for that kind of money. Basic Beer.BORIStheCrusher;1513943 wrote:No way in hell I would pay that!

It was delish, but will not pay that much for it again. I can't find shit for pumpkin beers, so I think I'm going to stick with buying Pumking. Might just say fuck it, and buy a case of it next time I'm out. That'll be my snobbing for the season.Curly J;1514173 wrote:I concur. Not that great of a beer for that kind of money. Basic Beer.

So I watched Brew Dogs this weekend, cool show but damn those two guys accents were so harsh it was hard to understand them. Also drank a crap ton of Coors Light saturday night at a bachelor party. Great mouthfeel, solid hop profile. Everyone should give it a shot!

True about the accent. Even James said in one episode that he can't understand what Martin is saying at times.vdubb96;1514246 wrote:So I watched Brew Dogs this weekend, cool show but damn those two guys accents were so harsh it was hard to understand them. I'm liking it, been having it with some chocolate with a bit of raspberry that my bf got me and it's a pretty tasty combo. Plus it's a lot cheaper than other Ommegang beers.

Fair enough. I'll have to give it a try next time I see it. I know the local Acme has it.I Wear Pants;1514726 wrote:I'm liking it, been having it with some chocolate with a bit of raspberry that my bf got me and it's a pretty tasty combo. Plus it's a lot cheaper than other Ommegang beers.

Hmm I might pick it up now, I'm always skeptical of a non 9% stout, usually find them to be thin.

The mouthfeel isn't as thick as say a Ten Fidy but I don't think it's thin enough to where it's an issue. And it's like $7 for the bomber so the outlay isn't that much.Commander of Awesome;1514750 wrote:Hmm I might pick it up now, I'm always skeptical of a non 9% stout, usually find them to be thin.

Really looking forward to Friday, parents are in NY so of course I had to use them again to get me some beers. Finally going to get some Flower Power for the first time in about 3 years. Was my favorite IPA for the brief time I could get it here, but it was gone one day and never came back. I think I've searched the shelves every time I get beer just hoping I would find some sitting there one day. Also getting some stuff from Jack's Abby, Firestone Walker, Maine Beer Co., and Midnight Sun. Should be a nice weekend.

Had some more Green Flash Green Bullet last night. What a wonderful beer and glad they have it on tap at Jungle Jim's. Also picked up so Timmerman's Pumpkin Lambic, a couple of Southern Tier Warlocks, a couple of Enjoy by 11.12.13, and a Stone Collab called Suede. Looking forward to trying the Pumpkin Lambic.

I've had the pumpkin lambic before, it was solid. Pretty good from what I remember.
I also picked up the Suede yesterday, I dont have high hopes for it but Stone usually doesn't disappoint. Interested to see how the flowers/honey mix.

Thanks about the lambic. I too don't have high hopes for the Stone, but I have to have it on principle, since it's Stone after all.Commander of Awesome;1515934 wrote:I've had the pumpkin lambic before, it was solid. Pretty good from what I remember.

I forgot I also bought a bottle of 3Floyd's Razorshoof. It was recommended by a friend. It's a Saison so we'll see how it goes. Saisons are usually a hit or a miss with me.
I also purchased the He Said from 21st Amendment. Totally forgot about that one...gesh, just how drunk was I last night to not remember them all.

Having birfday brews. Tried the Ommegang Game of Thrones Take Back the Black. It was a very 'meh' beer.
To get the taste of that out of my mouth, I've had a few Two-Hearted Ales. Good choice.
