Has anyone been watching Brew Dogs on the Esquire channel? It features the Brew Dog brewers from Scotland in the US. Last night they were in San Franscico. Looks like a cool beer scene there.

Sounds like a great time at Rivertown last night. Love that place, need to get back. I did see previews for Brew Dogs but haven't seen it yet. I should set my dvr up to record it. Thanks for the reminder bud!

How long has it been airing?

And San Francisco has a GREAT beer scene, or at least it sure did last time I was there (2009).

Yeah it's a solid scene, I think Ohio pwns it though. Maybe I'm biased, but give me Founders, Great Lakes, Fat Heads, Bells, Columbus Brewing, Hoppin' Frog, and Thirsty Dog over 21st Amendment, Drakes, Anchor Steam, and Sierra Nevada. Granted Sierra Nevada is awesome, but I'm partial to beers from the midwest, they do pumpkin beers right. Firestone Walker is the only brewery that I think can hold a candle to the mid west breweries.

Only two episodes so far. The first episode was in San Diego and Greg Koch from Stone was in many scenes.

I should add that The Wife and I shared a "Roepkin". This was their Roebling Porter blended with their Pumpkin.

I believe you can blend anything with their Roebling Porter and it would be great.

I was comparing them to the other large cities I've been to, but I agree. I'll definitely take what I've got here. If we got rid of the 12% law, Ohio would be perfect for me.

Ah, good. I may have to catch up on this.

Picked some Dead Guy tonight at Meijer. For some reason, I didn't think we could get it this far east.

Rogue has been around here for years. I cut my Craft Beer chops on them back in 2005/2006.

Had some Green Flash Green Bullet last night. It's a Triple IPA. Great beer. Totally different hop profile than what I'm used to. If you can find it, try it. It does not disappoint.

Just picked these up a little bit ago. Been trying to get ahold of it for years now and the only time I found a bottle it was leaking. Actually went in to get my wife some stuff and see a bunch of these sitting on the shelf.

Disappointed at the stores around me, and their pumpkin selection. Anyone try Kentucky bourbon pumpkin?

Until I hear someone credible say otherwise, I don't think I'll be trying much from them.

Good call O-Trap. I had it on draft a few weeks ago at Jungle Jim's Pint Nite. It's okay. Better than their over 'Bourbon'd' Kentucky Ale. The pumpkin seemed to soften the Bourbon, yet it's still not worth $15.00 a four pack. I only paid $4.00 and got a free glass. I'd rather have Rivertown Pumpkin.

Rogue Dead Guy is good, but I don't think it is worth $15 for a sixer.

Mine was $10.99, I think.
