Old Rasputin is definitely some fantastic shit. An uncle of mine brought some in from Columbus a few years back and I've loved it ever since. They carry it at Valley Wine Cellar here in Wintersville so I don't have to wait for it now.
Any of you tried 21st Amendment Back In Black IPA? I saw it at the Krogers in Steubenville but didn't pick it up.

I've bought it a few times which I usually only do for beers I really like because something has to stand out to make me want to buy it again. It's not the best Black IPA I've had (that easily goes to Sublimely Self-Righteous), but it's a pretty good beer for the price. I would suggest this.

I love Black IPAs. 21st Amendment's is pretty tasty. Had some last nigh along with Guinness Foreign Extra and GL Oktoberfest.
My English Nut Brown Ale is bottled and now I just have to wait two weeks or so before drinking the deliciousness.

I'm doing the Troegenator tonight. I went to the store and had the Two Hearted in my hand. Then I realizes between the 90 Min, Brew Free or Die, Rumble, and Two Hearted I've drank quite a bit of Hops as of late. I haven't had this beer in a long time so it was time to revisit it. Glad I did.

Old Rasputin is definitely one of my winter go-to brews. Too hot for an Imperial Stout, though.
Did have a New Holland Dragon's Milk the other day. It'd been a tick since I had. Was REALLY glad I did.

Not to bad of a beer. Actually it got the nickname as Texas Bock since it's made there.bigdaddy2003;861811 wrote:I'm about to drink some Shiner Bock.

Yeah, it's decent. My buddy and his wife kept giving it rave reviews and suggesting that I try it but I could never find it until last weekend. I still like Killians better in the dark beer category. I'm on a quest to try more though.

Hey Curly, not sure what your schedule is like and if you guys like wine as much as beer, but there is a beer/wine tasting at Party Source on Wednesday. Jessica and I are going down to check it out, not sure what they are serving though. I think tickets are $20 each but you get a $5 gift card, too.

Yeah I like well enough. Reminds me of another Texas beer, were the Caps all have a puzzle in them. Can't think of the name right now, any ideas what I'm talking about?

Thanks for the thought Justin, but we both work until 1230am. You ought to check out their Beer and Burgers nights. I believe they are usually a Thursday night. The Wife's went to a couple of those with a friend of hers.justincredible;870653 wrote:Hey Curly, not sure what your schedule is like and if you guys like wine as much as beer, but there is a beer/wine tasting at Party Source on Wednesday. Make sure you try a sample of the Creme Brulee Stout they have on tap.
No clue what you are talking about...lol Just kiddin. Actually it sounds familiar but I can't think of the beer. I used to drink quite a bit of the Shiner Bock. To a point that it got kinda old. I did the same with Christian Morelein's OTR and Anchor Steam.Commander of Awesome;870657 wrote:Yeah I like well enough. Reminds me of another Texas beer, were the Caps all have a puzzle in them. Picked up some Leinenkugel's Red Lager last night. Quite tasty.
We are getting closer to my favorite time type of beer now, Octoberfest style.

Googled it, Lone Star. Not a bad beer by any means, plus the caps were fun.
