POY??? Silly Question...stop acting naive....OQB;952258 wrote:Wallace is the MVP....can't dispute the numbers he has put up.
What I'm more interested in is who gets the Daily Record POY? Will these playoff games factor in to the deciding factor?

Age is just number until you feel it.
And this Smithville fan says the MVP is Wallace.

If you could give the award to the Smithville RBBC (Running Back By Committee), then I would, but the single best player for his team was Wallace.

Being a good coach is not all about X's and O's but how to get the most out of your players and to run an offense and defense that they can execute or at least give them the best chance at success. Every year Chippewa hires a new coach that is all anyone seems to care about is what are you going to run? How would an outsider know until he evaluated his players? That is probably the biggest reason I want a new coach. I know you have to give someone a chance and it takes time to turn things around, but you should still see improvements or adjustments and we haven't in two years, period. There is no discipline, no working with the youth or middle school, he is alienating his talent and fan base. Two years in a row now he has allowed players to join the team AFTER two a days or even the first game.
I would vote for Schrock for COY and Wallace as POY right now, but I would like to see what Wallace does in the playoffs before crowning him.

Getting back to the discipline of the Smithies.
You don't have to know much about what goes on behind the scenes, you just have to watch their offense come to the line of scrimmage and watch how they all get set with military like precision and snap to know that those boys "get it".
to paraphrase Chuck Noll, great teams are masters of the small things. Coming set the way they do shows they are a team.

First of all, you ended a sentence with a preposition. No wonder BRF dislikes you.Mr Miyagi;952486 wrote:Ringz......if everything goes as planned in the games this week....where does Miyagi pick up his tickets at ?
And the ticket offer is for the Regional FINALS.

Who were you thinking should be? I would say that taking a 2-8 team to share the title with the two teams being considered for it is pretty impressive.
Toughest Schedule: I'd normally give this to Orrville, because they consistently play up, but this year, I've got to give it to Northwestern, whose schedule this year included:dontcare;952471 wrote:Coach of the Year: Schrock

Crestview (10-0)
Black River (8-2)
Mogadore (7-3)
Norwayne (9-1)
Smithville (8-2)
Hillsdale (9-1)
Waynedale (6-4)
That's 7 opponents with a combined record of 57-13. That's just brutal.

Wallace is an easy MVP/POY choice. IMO
Pretty crowded field for runnerup.
My 2 cents on Harbour-
I think I read he's an Upper Sandusky grad and Baldwin Wallace academic all american. I also think he's 30 or younger. If he sticks around, he may get better at discipline, communication and half time adjusting. He's still pretty young and age may bring wisdom. My guess is he has his sights set on a higher profile job.
Miyagi-
as far as I'm concerned you're a runaway winner in the "incoherent stumbling drunk" category.......SPEECH!!!!!!

OTrap...lol I was Saying Schrock! I mean there was a 3 way split for the league crown...but Schrock had the biggest turn around and the big upset to grab a share of the title.

How am I reneging? Originally I said if Norwayne makes it to the regional finals I would buy tickets, I never mentioned a show down with Orrville. Scroll back.
