Welcome to the big leagues! :D

It doesn't really matter. It was a stupid thing done by a teenage kid on impulse. When is that a new development?
Bobcat;939304 wrote:#22 is a DB. If Smithville wants to get jacked up over him and waste their time messin with him that would be great. The way I see it they have bigger problems then him. I would spend my time worrying about Norwaynes threats, not a DB. For all we know he may have done it on purpose. Go get him boys. ha ha

Yeah, I'm doubting they're getting all up in arms. Wouldn't be the first time in this coaching staff's tenure that someone from another team has done something like this. They don't play to it. They just keep plugging their gameplan and ignore it.

It's weird how little effect something like this can have on a disciplined team.

I'm very, very proud of you. :D
dontcare;939318 wrote:Yea, 125 thinking he's 210. It will get him and his big mouth in trouble soon. A good crackback would be nice.

Just stay in front of the earhole and you're fine. ;)

Keith Schrock invented YouTube right after Al Gore stole his notes on his "intertubes" invention.

the news said Wooster got 2.3 inches of rain today......have to wonder how the 4 local fields will be Friday.... anyone going to be checking them out before Fri?

Was it 2 or 3 weeks ago that Black river was supposed to play at Wellington ,and Wellington postponed to Saturday because of a muddy field ? ( didnt know you could do that ) Black River supposedly offered to play at home but Wellington refused......Wellington won which really was an upset.....Not saying any of our teams would do that

This is the WCAL, where teams are willing to slug it out in the mud and slop.

Yeah, I couldn't see any Wayne county school postponing a game because the field is too muddy....I know Orrville plays at Clear Fork this week and it was said that their field hardly has any grass left on it. It hinders both teams playing in the mud and I think that is what makes football so much fun to watch.

Miyagi: I have not heard the career center called the "joint" in years! lol ! The field at Smithie Stadium is still holding up pretty well.
Time to make my picks:
Northwestern over Waynedale (very close)
Hillsdale over Rittman (earn a letter night for the Falcons)
Dalton over Chippewa
Smithville over Norwayne (upset special!!!)

Eugene went on to play at Marshall, while the Buckeyes were after Ronnie as a punter. I believe Ronnie just decided against college and stayed home to work?

Both were great athletes!

Ronnie's knee was shot. He stopped playing offense after his Sophmore or junior year. It was that bad. The only time he went in on offense was to lay the "crack back" on somebody. It's amazing nobody caught onto that. Little known fact: he actually quit his senior year because his knee was bad enough that he didnt feel like he was able to work hard enough at practice. Naturally they got him to change his mind. He was a devestating hitter. Eugene was a stud also.
