Curious to the stat keeping in Creston...todays newspaper has 5 Bobcats with 9 or more tackles, most being 17 with 3 TFL....if those 5 accounted for that many tackles...how much did the other 6 plus subs do? In theory...how many attempts/downs and or 3 and outs did Wellington have, with low offensive output and 0 points scored. Just curious? Anyone else find this .....odd?

Miyagi supposes Crestons stat keeper counts all assists as a tackle.. 3 people make a tackle 2 jump on the pile and they all get a tackle....the only thing Miyagi can figure. And the paper only reports stats they are given so who knows what is really going on in Creston. Maybe we should grab a dictionary and ask "Ru Paul"

Well with the eve of week 2 upon us...BEAST unleashes the picks....

Galion over Chipps BIG

Tuslaw over Dalton- Upset potential unless Dalton is THAT bad...this is usually a burner.

Hillsdale over Bucyrus- will be 3-0 when they hit league play

Black River over Northwestern -BR with 3 100+ rushers last week,

Norwayne over CVCA- CVCA is one dimentional

Brookside over Rittman- Brookside is beatable...but not with Dennis' 5 wide.play your best kids at the best spots in the best formations

Smithville over Mogadore- This could go either way...I think youth gets to Mogadore and the Smithies get a "W"

Waynedale Over Ridgewood- Bears steal away a victory from unsuspecting Ridgewood...key is to score 1st.

Ahh man......

When I finally get here you guys are back to talking Football......Damn

....and I was just about to regale everyone with a story about the time I accidently killed a sea lion by throwing a plastic 2 litre bottle off the pier in San Francisco. The damn thing tryed to swallow it and choked to death in front of myself and a bunch of school children from Vallejo....anyway, long story short.....the cops were pissed and I doubt I'll ever get a set of keys to the city.

There's probably a moral in there somewhere, but I"ll leave it to you guys to figure it out and pass it on to your offspring.



Back to Football.......

Smithville/Mogadore & Northwestern/Black River seem like the real interesting games this week. Sounds like opinions vary on the outcome of those 2 games. The rest seem cut & dried.....
Norwayne & Hillsdale roll.....everybody else gets rolled.

im not so sure backyard brawl Dalton/Tuslaw could swing like Paul.....either way. I also aint counting Da Bears out...I think TV has a tough team....Bears wore em down...Ridgewood matches up sizewise well...not as big as TV...but more skill players. I could be wrong...but I think if the Bears can get a quick score them southern ohio boys may start kickin stones.....Roll on Bears!!!!

My picks. Chipps and Indians take it on the chin. Falcons and Bobcats will name the score. Bears and Smithies win squeekers. Bulldogs and Huskies lose by two scores.

I'm not buying this whole Miyagi is bilingual thing, sure his dad clearly had an asian fetish as Miyag looks like a japanese Gilligan. I also admit english is probably not his first language......far eastern hillbilly is his native tongue.

Furthermore, if Miyagis bilingual....I'm Quad-lingual.
Besides English.......

I speak Paul

I be Tilingual, Spoke to German once, but that fellow be old and didn't understand much. I speak quiet, send email to wife 6 feet away, Geez women just shutup and answer Email. Can't speak good english like me anyway.
