Pointing out that you are wrong means I am implying that you support Strickland? That's a new one.
Kasich is so anti-gun he signed a bill allowing weapons to be brought into bars?
It was political suicide to not sign it.
I love how it's the gun laws we seem so gun-ho on fixing in this state. Yes, "stripper clips" (whatever that is) in trunks is something that needs ironed out. The fact that I can carry a weapon into McDonald's but not Chipotle needs ironed out. (Ignoring the fact, WHY IN THE FUCK WOULD I EVER NEED A GUN IN EITHER PLACE?).
Because this is something that is affecting Ohians.
"Other states do it too" isn't a defense at all. Obvii it's not anarchy, but it's just stupid that these are the things our state spends its time on.
Which is why it should have been done correctly in the first place, but the bill had to be so watered down due to Taft.
Ohio is losing big time right now. We lost when we didn't have the vision to forsee a world in which manufacturers could manufacture in a place like Bolivia, ship their product here, and improve their profit margins. Now, we're behind the 8 ball, and there's dumb fucks in Columbus saying things like, "It's inane in this state that I can carry my glock into McDonald's but I can't carry it into Chipotle."
Like I said, if it had been done correctly in the first place, we wouldn't be in this spot.
These are the things we're spending our time on. This is the vision of our elected officials.
They were spending their time on it due to the outpouring of opinions from their constitutes. If you think it is such a waste of time, vote your Rep out the next election. I get a strong feeling that you don't even vote in local elections to begin with. Not many people do.
