The days of having "great" teams in college basketball are over. It's just not going to happen because players don't stay in school long enough to really become "great" college players individually. Ohio State has a really good team this year with the mixture of experience and youth. Kansas had that last year. Kentucky was as talented last year as we might see in a long time and I don't think you could classify any of them as great.
Nothing wrong with being considered "very good" these days. And as has been proven, in basketball, any team can beat any team on any given night (for the most part). The best team doesn't always win. But at this point, there are a handful of teams that are unquestionably better than others.
