I think we are seeing a change in college football from pro style pocket passers to the dual threat QB......that is all that is playing in this game.

It's an All-Star game. They don't want a kid to get bull rushed and get hurt.

Saw a WR in the first half get hit helmet to helmet by a DB and thought the kid got knocked out. All that Luginbill(announcer and ESPN recruiting analyst) said was, I told you this kid was a physical head hunter. He didnt mean it in a bad way, almost like he was defending it. Dont bring that shit to All-Star games.

23 to the SEC? this ties right into their "over signing" philosophy--I feel for the kids who'll get a "sorry, but this class is full" message.

I noticed a few Auburn commits. I don't know about you guys, but if I'm a recruit, no way I'm touching Auburn. I don't care how much money they're going to offer me, I'd prefer not to go down with that ship once the Cam Newton invesitgation grows a new set of legs.

Actually it would be more like the junior returning for his senior year that is told his scholarship isn't being renewed.

yeah right. They have an OC and DC leave in consecutive years, after winning 2 National Titles (Notre Dame?). All you haters see 8-5, I see the result of a tough conference, a great senior class plus 5 superstar juniors gone pro(oversigning you say?) and replacing Tebow. I call that a rebuilding year. You see where the best recruits go to college. Driskel had 500+ yards of offense himself vs. Lakeland in a playoff game. Half of you trolls hate Meyer, the rest want him to replace Tressel. Funny how none of the dozen asshats here want to acknowledge the TOSU starters from Florida. Would you even have the '02 title if not for Holmes ?
notre dame ??? when were their last 3 National Championships ?

Unless you are trying to say that Holmes, as a freshman who was redshirting, was giving the OSU defense such a great look in practice that year that he single handedly prepared them for Miami's great receiving corp, you are a complete moron.

First of all, Holmes who? the red-shirted WR??? I can say that, yes, OSU would still have the 2002 title even without Holmes. Florida only has 3 titles in their ENTIRE HISTORY. The program wasn't even relevant nationally until what 1993??? STFU and go to the basement already.

ok, first time I've been wrong on this board. It was 2 Florida WR's that year, Chris Gamble and Mike Jenkins. RB Lydell Ross wasn't bad either.

slingshot, 1993 is about when today's recruits were born. Do you think they are comparing ancient history? "Wow, look how good OSU was in leather helmets."
