Obviously, he would transfer to get more playing time. I honestly think Berry thought he would have been a much bigger factor this year than he was. He will only be a redshirt sophomore next year, so he would have sufficient eligibility left should he transfer to another program.

And it's news to me that he enters camp next year as the #2 guy behind Jordan Hall(?). There is a lot to be determined at the RB position. Roderick Smith and Carlos Hyde have the talent necessary to win the job as well. Especially Smith, who many say is a downhill runner in the mold of Eddie George. And of course Boom Herron returns after an 1100 yard season. The backfield will be crowded next year.

I didn't read this whole thread but whats everybody's take on the secondary next year?

CB: Travis Howard / Corey Brown(might miss spring due to injury) or Allen
CB: Clarke / Doran Grant
FS: Johnson / Bryant
SS: Barnett / Bryant
Star: Moeller

Bryant will be a starter somewhere in the secondary next season. He'll be the next great DB for OSU imo.

Alot of questions in the secondary. I think Howard at CB, and Moller at Star is the only positions set in stone right now. I think they have to get Bryant on the field somehow, and I was pretty impressed w/ Clarke in the Sugar Bowl.

JaJuan Story finally visited this weekend. He said he loved the visit and is down to OSU and Florida.

I read a twitter post from Laura McKeeman that Story actually liked the snow. Kind of funny when you think of all the southern recruits who factor the snow in negatively.
RT @GAINESVILLAIN: “@tsk123: @LauraMcKeeman ask him how he likes the weather” (LMAO)>>lol he actually says "I love the snow"
I'll also include a picture of Laura McKeeman. . . just because it seems like the right thing to do.

Apparently if Duron Carter gets his associate degree he may end up back at OSU. Also 11W has a good article about how the hell all these players fit in the class. Obviously the staff knows some guys aren't going to be back already (James Jackson). Or are going on a medical scholarship (Hagan).

I see OSU ending up with Walker, C. Grant, and possibly Story. Talk about a great way to finish up a great recruiting year.

That would be a huge coup.

I agree with that part that Christian Bryant will be a starter somewhere next season in the OSU secondary; but I'm going to reserve judgment in regards to the comment, "he'll be the next great DB for OSU."

CJ Barnett at safety is also set in stone I'd say.

I didn't realize Hagan's injury was so bad he might never play for OSU. I feel bad for the kid.

Carter isn't coming back. That ship has sailed.

I agree, only left him off because of the injury, and you never know how that will heal. If completely healthy, he is a lock.

Good point, I was thinking about the injury too, but it seems like he should be back healthy. I can understand why you left him off, more like he's set in stone with an asterisk beside that.

Barnett is freakin nasty. Having him and Moeller back next year will be great.

Ohrian Johnson needs to step up IMO. I could see him losing his spot and getting the Jamario O'Neal treatment after starting a year.

That would be a nice steal.

With Posey being out and Dane graduating, Story would definitely have the opportunity to earn some PT at OSU early on.

I just think the kid has that "it" factor about him.

Story would be an amazing grab. Although extremely young, a WR corp of TY Williams, Philly Brown, Fields, and Story could help ease the sting of losing Sanz and getting us through those first 5 without Posey. Even though I don't see us throwing the ball much those 5 games, but if we have to, I think those young guys will be enough.
