I've been hearing that Walker has been an OSU "lock" for quite some time now but the more information that comes out, the more I am worried about the chances of landing him. He is heading to FSU this weekend and PSU the following weekend. I understand recruits should use their OVs and most do use all of them, but it is still a slight cause for concern.

As for Grant, his public comments make me believe he is an OSU lean. He would be the creme de la creme of this class. Him and Story were both in Gainesville last weekend together. It is a good sign, however, that Story is still scheduled to be on OSU's campus this weekend. Hopefully they have a WR coach there to at least talk to him, as I'm hearing Drayton is likely to be announced on January 23rd.

Jennings basically comes down to what position he wants to play. Virginia is projecting him at WR, Wake Forest is going to let him play QB, and OSU wants him at DB. He has made a comment (can't find it now) where he states he thinks his best position long term (NFL) would be at the CB position and he likes how OSU puts CBs in the NFL. He would be an excellent pick-up.

Will be an exciting next 1.5 weeks.

This is standard operator for Glenville kids. Nothing new. There has been 1 kid from Glenville Cordale Scott that had an OSU offer that did not go to Ohio State. He went to Illinois got in troubles and transfered to Toledo. Latwan Anderson got his pulled last year because he is off his rocker obviosly and he is no longer on the Miami football roster. He will be a buckeye and thats just how Glenville kids roll.

Ya, I get that. Walker's recruitment is almost identical to Marcus Hall's. He is just somebody I really want in this class.

Really excited at the possibility of getting Grant after watching him in the Army All-American game. He is college football ready right now physically!

WAAAAAAAAAHHH .... Look closely for the  I agree with jcrazy's answer. DeShawn Wynn was close, Marcus Manson was a bust, Demps and Harvin split carries with Tebow. Moody couldn't go 40 yds without fumbling, so he is right. Watch for Mike Gillislee to break it this year. Now you made me piss off the other insecure Buckfans here because I said something about a team other than tOSU. Not my fault you are a sensitive whiny loser.

Nah, speed isn't a bad poster.

As much as I would like to see our team at full strength at the beginning of the year, it should be exciting to see some of these young guys, notably Berry and Smith.

you think it has no reflection on Drayton ? ok.
I only put that up to show that I agree with jcrazy's answer to me. AND I said now look anytime someone even mentions anything about anything else, even if it is connected (Drayton), the kiddies here cry and scream. Why didn't you bitch about OneBuckeye starting a Will Hill thread ? now kiss my ass LJ

I may be in the minority, but I appreciate speed's posts regarding Drayton and other college football info. But then again, I don't get the pissing match between Florida and OSU.

Rumors are flying around the STL area that the suspension of the Buckeye players will be reduced to two games. Any word from Ohio on this, or is it just BS?

Anyone have any more information on '11 RB Kion Williams? Rumor is that he is set to make an OV next weekend. Seems odd, as I have not heard his name all year. Not a highly touted prospect. Possibly a position switch in the future?

Edit: Upon further review, maybe Drayton is behind this.

Can't see OSU using a scholly on this kid, especially w/ the 2 RB's in '12, and Rushel Shell reportedly considering OSU for '12.

why would Berry transfer haha? He would have been better to do it before last season. This year he enters camp as the #2 guy behind Hall. He will get more than enough chances to tote the football.

There are very few instances of a suspension being reduced. I would be extremely surprised to see it happen in our case. I would say that if we benched them for the Sugar Bowl we would have had a better chance of getting it reduced.
