Yeah, no shit. Wasn't he the one someone was saying wanted to "play for a warm weather team?" LOL...Sure, the Lions may play in a dome but you gotta live there during the season.

Fairley may have gotten unlucky having to play in the city of Detroit, but he is in a perfect situation to excel.

Speaking of Roethlisberger, I heard that after what Heckert did to Atlanta's GM last night that he (Heckert) may have to register as a sex offender in Georgia...;)

Detroit will be better than Cleveland this season. Take it to the bank.

My point is, if Modell didn't come on Browns threads we wouldn't see these comments....

True story. After I was verbally slapped on the hand by LJ claiming that I was "of Capone's level", or something to that effect, I've stayed clear of their threads. Same can't be said for Capone who is a closet Browns fan.

If that clown (Capone) stays off Browns threads and doesn't start anti-Cleveland threads now we'd have nothing to discuss regarding "new material", now would we?

If you ignore him he will go away. Better yet, put him on your IL and you will never see his posts

Just throwing out some facts. It was talked about today on First Take that he tanked his interview so they wouldn't draft him. It's not that he had anything against the city, he just didn't want to play for that organization. Sorry if the facts upset you guys.

Coming from the guy that needs materical period. You're a steelers fan from horse farms remember? How about going back to those threads instead of trying to get ours (Browns thread 67 pages, Pitt 5 lolpwned) off topic. Nice work mod! /sarcasm

Alright back on topic after idiot LJ/capwned tries to derail the thread.

After listening to Stephania Bell on NFL Today podcast talk about Bowers knee I'm less bullish on him than some of you guys. She says his knee could very well always be an issue. I've had my fill of injury prone DE (Courtney Brown)

Yeah, def is a "high risk/high reward" pick.

Yeah, I'm kinda leery of Bowers. He could be a deluxe talent but there's got to be a reason a projected top 10 talent has fallen into the 30's. Won't hurt my feelings if they go with Brooks Reed, if he's there, at that pick.

Panthers looking to move into the 2nd round. Is this how the Browns get back a 3rd rounder and perhaps a 1st/2nd next year?

Pretty much says it all. The dude led the nation in sacks. But if he has a short career or is constantly injured, than he's not worth it.

Panthers gave up a 1st to get into the second round two drafts ago to take the QB and convert him to a WR. I bet they'd do this deal, lol.

More than likely we'd get their 2nd next year but I think I'd do their #64 (3rd rounder) and a 2nd next year for our #59. I wouldn't part with the #37.

No way would I give up our 37th, unless it involved a 1st.

That can be that bad to trade up 5 spots and give up a 2nd for that.

I think they should take Bowers if he is still there with the first pick. If not pick up another need. I'd wait til the second pick to grab WR. Hopefully Hankerson or Young will be there.

I wouldn't be unhappy if they went with Jabaal Sheard (DE) with one of those 2nd rounders either....
