Walter Camp's Mock has the Browns taking Melvin Ingram, DE from South Carolina in the 2nd round.

A few more of those on the O-Line and perhaps McCoy doesn't look like total **** and they have a running game? Now Is McCoy going to take this team deep into the playoffs? Highly doubtful.
Where did I say the players we have taken have been bad? You can keep taking quality, pro-bowl lineman and defensive players...but eventually you have to take a fucking WR with a high pick. You have to get some weapons, you need a freakin offense.

Oh, and Brady Quinn..22nd pick

Lol that pick was terrible, but I remember being so excited when they took him because I just wanted a decent QB..he couldn't even be that.

Didn't we trade up to get him, too? I remember there was a trade involved

Yep, Savage traded up to get him and Eric Wright I'm pretty sure. Joe Thomas was the first pick that draft.

Mitchell's been average at best this year. He doesn't get to the QB at all. That's been on the wishlist in my opinion.

Heckert made him out to be the second coming as a pass rusher and was pissed that Mangini never used him.

Yeah no kidding. Talk about failed pass rushers with Wimpy, Mitchell, Hall, Marcus Bernard. List goes on and on.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I'm not a big Colt McCoy fan but after seeing Tyler Palko last night I'm thankful the Browns have him (McCoy).

True, funny that he was the reason that Flacco went to Delaware.

In other news, Art Modell didn't make it again. Thank goodness.

What would the thoughts be if Heckert went defense with the early picks to finish off this D and make it a force, grabbing some of the offensive need (OL/WR) in free agency? If they fix that O-Line and get a #1 receiver the offense should be in pretty decent shape.

I keep hearing that Vontaze Burfict could fall to their 2nd round pick. It would be sweet to land a Ray Lewis-type (minus that murder thing) LB that late.

I want to see offense taken with the first two picks. and then maybe trade up to get vontaze if he does fall to the second round
