I think I like Barkley more than Luck. But in all fairness USC has a couple stud WR's. Only caught that last drive by RG3, but I think he will make a pro team very happy as well.dazedconfused;980048 wrote:ok, colt's gotta go. rg3 or barkley are too good to pass up

Random stat I learned from Channel 5 that proves that the Browns can't win anything:
They have yet to win a coin toss this year.

The thing that jumped out at me most in this article is that Pashos is ranked number FOUR in the league in pass protection? That HAS to be a typo. Dude is a matador...

Just saw that McCoy injured his arm/shoulder in the game. Makes me nervous as its the same arm he injured in college during the National Championship game.

This is from Will Burge....
After Pat Shurmur’s press conference he pulled aside myself, Nate Ulrich from the ABJ, and Scott Petrak from the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram and talked to us for about 5 minutes.
His message was that when he is snippy in press conferences it’s not the media’s fault. His frustration comes from not winning. He said he tells the team all the time that they ARE going to win here and they ARE going to win big. He truly believes it.
He said he gets frustrated because he knows that the players can play better, he can coach better, and they can win more than they have. He wants to win as much as everyone else and it is killing him that they were losing.
Shurmur said that there will be some big wins here and they need to pull out games like this to get to that point.
It was a very real and genuine conversation. There was no podium, no cameras, and no sound recorders. It was just a coach trying to portray a message that he doesn’t think he is above the criticism and feels the pain of the city, fans, and media alike.

The Dec 4th Browns/Rats game at CBS has been flexed from a 1pm start to a 4:05pm start.

Maeric had a concussion. Wonder if we bring in a FB to replace him for the game. Didn't we carry two in TC/Pre season?

Yeah I would love it and then pick up a WR in the 2nd. There seems to be enough depth at WR in this draft to where it shouldn't hurt them to wait

I will say this, the Cleveland media is so jaded, they will make anyone look bad. They need some new blood there.BR1986FB;982247 wrote:This is from Will Burge....

I'd actually rather see them go get a vet, like Colston, in free agency.SMITTEMS;982640 wrote:Yeah I would love it and then pick up a WR in the 2nd. There seems to be enough depth at WR in this draft to where it shouldn't hurt them to wait

Yeah lets keep drafting QBs and lineman w/ our first picks..that's really turned out well for us:rolleyes:
If they don't take a WR w/ one of their 2 first round picks, I might just flip out

When, since Tim Couch, have they used a high pick on a QB? You do realize those linemen they they took with those "first picks" are Pro Bowl players? A few more of those on the O-Line and perhaps McCoy doesn't look like total shit and they have a running game? Now Is McCoy going to take this team deep into the playoffs? Highly doubtful.SportsAndLady;982752 wrote:Yeah lets keep drafting QBs and lineman w/ our first picks..that's really turned out well for us:rolleyes:

I'd much rather have a WR with the 2 first rounders then a QB. Big drop off, IMO, from Blackmon/Floyd/Jeffery to the next tier. I want a guy from that first tier.

Well...it looks like DE may be on the wishlist too. Jayme Mitchell has been benched.
