[h=2]Browns fan kicked out of game for ‘excessive standing’[/h] That doesn’t sit well with the South Amherst resident, who has been sitting in Row 10 of the Dawg Pound for the last 25 seasons the Browns have played, but he tries to abide by the rules as best he can. “I hate the people who sit down at a game,” he said. “It’s not that I try to stand and (expletive) everyone off. I want everyone to stand so that when we’re on national TV we don’t look like lumps on a log.”
“Why spend any more money on a team that doesn’t want me to be there? That doesn’t want me to cheer for them?” Matt Stipe said.

The whole if you don't stand during games for long periods of time you're not really a football fan (or basketball) is really lame. Other reports had this guy being drunk (imagine that) and belligerent with authorities; so it wasn't just about standing.
So long as you are into the game and make a lot of noise when you should to help the home team, you're doing your job as a good fan, imo. And yes, that means standing at various points in time to make more noise; but it doesn't require standing the entire game and blocking people behind you.

English Premiere League fans are some of the most passionate fans when it comes to their teams...you don't see them standing.
Just fricken sit down..when an exciting play happens, then you can stand up. What the hells the point of standing?

This apparently a trend...lots of people are complaining of being kicked out for standing. I guess you can just send a text to complain...they warn you once....then boot you the second time

smh, thats a joke. Never has crossed my mind to even use that service. This does give me a good idea though. I think we should find the number to the Steelers text service, and just report random seats for misconduct.wes_mantooth;916332 wrote:This apparently a trend...lots of people are complaining of being kicked out for standing. Lecharles Bentley apparently quit at WKNR today. I saw they took his profile off the site just a few hours ago.
Does anyone know what the big announcement was during the RBS this morning about what the new programming line-up is?
It seems like total chaos around there right now.

I heard him say that Joe Jermaine was the best QB he ever played with, and that included Brees. SMH. I remember being legit pumped when we signed him.wes_mantooth;916604 wrote:I didn't like lecharles....he is like Jamelle hill

2 of the top 5! Nice, I'll take it. Lets hope they continue to play at this level.

Strep is contagious as fuck. Neither team would have any healthy players had he played, lol

I've never heard of a RB mising a game because he was sick so I thought it was odd. That being said anyone questioning Hillis's toughness is an idiot.SportsAndLady;916779 wrote:Heard Hillis is takin crap for missing last week's game...people callin em a pussy...give me a break lol

It's definitely easy to call him a pussy while watching in the stands or sitting on the couch, however strep is no joke. That shit can definitely sideline you. Strep would sideline somebody from an every day office job let alone a job that requires you to get your ass beat every time you touch the ball.
Edit: not sure why "joke" appears twice, but when I click to edit the text, it doesn't appear. Odd.

That's why a lot of (not all) this fan base is a bunch of assholes. This team could be 3-0 right now with wins by 20+ points each outing and some fans would STILL find something to bitch about.
The dude SLEPT threw the first three quarters of this game with strep. Yeah, I REALLY want him out there carrying the ball.

Anyone who doesn't understand how dangerous strep is should just STFU. Not only does it totally zap the person who has it, it's fairly easy to transmit in a setting where water bottles are shared. How stupid would it be to expose your entire team like that?
Give me a freaking break.

Shurmur better be carefull or this locker room is going to blow up....Hillis and Moore were absolutely PISSED in their postgame interview. Hillis was trying to be a team player but you could really sense the frustration in Moore's interview.

Heckert really has some hard work to do in this coming offseason....It is very clear we need OL, LB, and WR.....in what order I don't really know, but I am very interested to see what his order of needs are.

Or ANY receiver for that matter.....it is sad when your best receiver is a TE that only get's put into the game when the team is in the redzone....which is what 2-3 times a game.

Problem is, even if they did have a competent WR, I still have this hunch that McCoy would STILL be checking down on these 3-5 yard dink & dunks.Commander of Awesome;919977 wrote:Still dont understand why we didnt go after Avery. Makes zero sense.

He gives up on the play WAY too early, and then just settles for the little 4-5 yard pass. He is used to getting pressured so much that when he does have time, he still checks down.

I saw McCoy just wasn't seeing the field well or anticipating throws at all today. This was highlighted in a 3rd down throw to Cribbs. Cribbs was on the left side side of the field and running a crossing route. McCoy delivers the ball to him left side of the center its an easy first down and plenty of YAC. McCoy doesnt get him the ball until he's on level with Pashos and fails to get the 1st down. He wasn't anticipating throws at all, or hitting his WRs in stride. Waiting for them to get open instead of anticipating it. Brady Quinn disease.
