And Harrison is the biggest whiner of them all. I legitimately believe he is mentally retarded or brain damaged...DEAD serious. He's good, mind you, but I think that's "retard strength."(<<<and I'm not saying that to make fun of the mentally challenged. Known fact their strength can be ridiculous)

He's just dumb. His "retirement" threat after those fines also. Must be sharing the same water with Osama Mendenhall.

You said "the attitude" started last year with that Ward hit. What "attitude" were you referring to in your response to OQB's post? Because I think he made it pretty clear what "attitude" and type of play he was talking about.

like_that;780718 wrote:As Br said, no one has ever said anything about dirty play. Nice fail.
See OQB's post. Did he actually use the words "dirty play"? Obviously not. However, hoping for fines for too hard of a hit and hitting the QB late sure sounds like "dirty play" to me.......

Appropriate nickname since it will probably take Cleveland 10 years to subdue him. ;)

There's a BIG difference between having game changing players with an "attitude" that will light you up when you come across the middle. Troy Polamalu, imo, is a player who will light you up who plays CLEAN. James Harrison is NOT.

I'd prefer Browns players intimidate in more of a "Troy Polamalu way" than a "James Harrison way." Don't advocate spearing or cheapshots nor will I ever. Good, clean, bone jarring hits that will make an offensive player lose control of his body functions I have NO issue with.

Sooooo......was OQB referring to the "Polamalu" way or the "Harrison" way with his detailed post (which you replied to by stating that "attitude" started last year with Ward's hit)?

Funny, but I don't think Mendenhall has eclipsed 100 yards in a game against the Browns yet unless he did it in his rookie season.

Couldn't tell you about the "fines, etc" part but I do know the 'attitude" I was referring to was the intimidation factor that Ward now has over opposing receivers.

3 TD's in two games against them last season. Not great but not bad IMO.

Not bad at all but the Browns haven't had much problem containing Pittsburgh's running game since Fast Willie left. Most of those TD's were probably short rushes set up by TheRapist's passing.

Well put. Ben typically gets in that ass when he plays the Browns.

No denying that. They've (Browns) only been successful against him once. Proof is in the results.

Yep.

Eh, the banter has been fun. We need something to pass the time until football season (assuming there is one). Take care.

Saw the story about Donovan fighting leukemia (another story on BR's link). Sheesh. I think there must be a curse attached to the Browns play by play job.

I'm sure it would be. Not sure why some have a shit fit when a Steeler fan posts on a Browns thread like it's against the rules or taboo. If I was posting like Modell your request would make sense. I made some convo and that was it.

Ewok doesn't typically troll. It's when guys like Non/Capone (still convinced they are the same guy) get on here and spew some stupidity (i.e. Steeler fans are more knowledgeable because their team has been more successful) that I take issue. Ewok usually keeps it to football.
