I really think the Browns are talking to Asomugha just to make his price for other teams much higher.

"I would love Carlos Rogers. He has hands of stone but is a very good coverage corner. And though Antonio Cromartie has his (negative) moments, he was very good last year and could be even better. Richard Marshall would be a good signing as well.

I expect to add Ray Edwards today and hopefully a cornerback. It wasn't widely reported, but the Browns were in on the Jon Joseph sweepstakes. "

Exactly. Even Deion Sanders points and laughs.

Edwards down to Browns & Falcons per incarcerated. Edwards may leave money on the table to go to ATL.

Cromartie wants to come to Cleveland and have a kid or three with Gloria. Keep her in the basement!

I just noticed I am not following too many NFL people on twitter, what twitters are good to follow for NFL news? Other than the usual-Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen and profootballtalk.com

Schefter and Clayton are two of the best for general NFL. I've been disappointed with the Browns people I follow (Grossi, OBR) so far

OBR seems to have lost all of their "stroke" since the Holmgren/Heckert regime came. They were all over shit when Savage was here.

It is frustrating to not what is going on, but it is good that our front office is no longer leaking their intentions to the entire world.

Yah that's what I remember too which is why I've never had to look for another Browns source. But this week has me thinking I need to find someone else to supplement them.

This. It might be frustrating to not know what's going on but I'd rather other teams not know as well so we don't get screwed over. I like how Heckert's been handling the FA so far. Now if we don't land anyone that will change.

I'm starting to believe that they are just going to pay the penalty to be under the floor.
