I dont like the NFL anymore lol.

Dont we have to trade for Osi, and then give him a new contract (since he is holding out)??? Not that he isnt a good get, just saying it doesnt immediately affect our cap situation being too low unless we traded picks.

Let's see the numbers Edwards puts up before we get all upset about it. He faced almost no double teams because of the Williams wall and Allen and it's very possible his numbers were greatly inflated. I'm still not concerned yet.

I'm not saying I believe Mary Kay Cabot because she usually blows, but yesterday she reported that the claims of the Browns giving him a huge offer and being in deep talks w/ him were grossly exaggerated.

Actually, Edwards was the 3rd best player in the league at rushing the QB factoring in "QB pressure, QB hits & sacks." He was actually BETTER than guys like Jared Allen, etc.

I knew if Cleveland didn't get an answer from him last night, he was walking. The Browns seem to be like that girl you use to make the girl you really want mad. Edwards and Jonathan Joseph both used the Browns' offer to drive up the price from other teams who were willing to pay out more. The Browns did all they could to get Edwards, contrary to what many of you want to believe, but Heckart isn't going to overpay for guys to come to Cleveland. If he doesn't want to be there, to hell with him. The Browns are going to get better, but it's going to be through the draft and the "unknown" FAs (i.e. Brandon Jackson, Usama Young). Hang in the Browns fans, our time is coming.

Not Ben Watson, but Jayme Mitchell is going to get paid. If the Browns want him, they're going to have to dish out a few dollars more than what they probably inteded. Mitchell should be kissing Ray Edwards right now. SMH

Seems like the Browns are overthinking this FA period. Its OK to throw some money at a player, the Browns need some upgrades and the draft is over. How else are they supposed to do it right now? They have the money to spend, why dont they spend some of it? I'm not saying to go out and throw 60 mil at Nnamdi but get something done.

Also, I think on mike and mike....they were saying that you don't have to be at that cap number for two years. I would love to see the browns lock down some guys like joe thomas with some front loaded contracts since they aren't making any moves.
