So you have what is essentially a soon to be felon claiming he never got monies from a bunch of college kids. Said felon is in trouble with the IRS cause his books are fucked...solid source

Right, but it wasn't a couple day investigation. It took years for them to make any sort of decision on Reggie when it was pretty cut and dry what happened.

Yes, I realize that they just did with Reggie; but that was a different set of circumstances. There was an actual investigation that took years to complete, not a couple days.
They can probably do whatever they want. They can change rules on the fly and make decisions that contradict previous decisions.

Anyways, I think it is important to note that it seems every site is getting their information from the same source. It's not like new sources are coming out lately.

We still don't know if the IRS story is even true. Remember Herbie was getting his information from speculation and didn't seem to really have any idea what way truly happening.

USC and Reggie not admitting to anything didn't help. Since this is minor, and if the players fess up, OSU can deal in house and the NCAA will let it be so long as they find the punishment proper.

FWIW...

So ESPN just said that OSU could sit the players out or the players could be made to pay for the tats they got, if this is all true.

This will be bull crap if the NCAA does something to the OSU players after allowing Cam Newton to continue playing and eventually winning the Heisman...they said he was ineligible one day and a day later said he was eligible...so is that what they're going to do to the OSU players...if the story is true?

The NCAA never ruled Cam ineligible, Auburn did. And then the NCAA looked at a few things and said he was eligible. But I get what you are saying.

I always like to read comments on other forums, articles, blogs, etc. to get on a pulse how most fans are feeling on given issues and what I find very interesting is how many people, not even OSU fans, are upset by this. Even Arkansas and SEC fans are saying this is BS for the most part. Just goes to show you how salty everyone is over Cam Newton and how small this pales in comparison to that whole situation.
