Wow, the idiots are out in full force today. This thread has become a joke, you can't even have a legitimate discussion here anymore, especially when dolts like "never played sports and loves men" and "strap on" start with their idiotic bullshit. Too bad.

I'm flaming you for trying to argue points without facts. Here's another flame, the only "Strap On" is the one your wifes uses to pound your ass every night? That's me flaming you.

For the record the name was Jamaal-Raheem...but it got banned because i gave the mods the finger and told them crosby sucked.

These facts

1) Gretzky would be the all time point leader without scoring a single goal - Fact! Look it up, it's simple adding and subtracting - retards in helmets can do it, so can you

2) Lets do the math here - Mario is 1,100 points away from the Great Ones record - say he played all 82 games for 5 years he missed - 410 games - he would've had to AVERAGE 2.7 points per game!! Gretzky in his entire career didn't even average 2! Even with missing time, even with the different style of play, no way in hell Mario would've SHATTERED anything ANYTHING Gretzky did.

The math above is based on if Mario played full seasons of the ones he missed. So based on your hypothetical argument, i did math and put down a FACT that he would've need to average almost 3 points a game to just TIE the great one...let alone SHATTER anything.

you sir are a FAILURE

I just looked it up, Lemieux only played 915 out of a potential 1,428 regular season NHL games in his career and that doesn't include the three year layoff when he retired. Do your fucking math now!

I never said it wasn't. All I'm saying is if Lemieux JUST stays healthy, forget about having goons to protect him or a great team built around him, he shatters those records. BTW, sports and talking about sports isn't the real world!

Oh so he missed 513 games - Still would've had to average OVER 2 points a game for 6 seasons to TIE...to just TIE!!!! Not even close to shatter. There's the math stupid.

Pretty sure injuries go into how great an athlete is. I mean, you could be the best quarterback in the world, but if you're injured, you're not great at all. You can't say "oh well Lemieux only played 900 out of 1400 games" to prove how great he was...as a matter of fact it just proves the opposite, that his injuries faltered him and it made him less of a player.

So cancer and major back surgery limiting one's career proves the opposite of how great someone could have been? GTFO!

Believe that Lemieux shatters those records? Yes I do, IF he stays healthy.

I don't understand why you can't have an opinion on something, especially when it would not be out of the realm of possibility.
