I would say that they had much more success---three new soph starters on the line, lost on a last minute drive...
Ahh the moral victory comments. haha

Both Neuheisel and Carroll are equally to blame. First, Carroll was trying to run the clock out and it was obvious that UCLA was going to lose. Neuheisel starts calling timeouts (1st bad decision) and then Carroll (made the 2nd bad decision) by deciding to throw it deep. Technically I have no problem with what either did, I just think that USC should be wary of the whole 'what goes around, comes around' thing. I had more of a problem with Carroll acting like complete jackass on the sideline after they threw the TD.
At the end of the day UCLA has to stop USC (heck USC may have done them a favor, incomplete pass stops the clock, intercepting gives them possession). UCLA didn't respond very well either, instead of trying to score they acted like a bunch of thugs and ran onto the field.
USC and Carroll on the other hand have absolutely no room to talk when Stanford and others get even either. Just a few weeks ago after Stanford was running it up Carroll confronted Harbaugh at mid-field and yelled "what's your problem!" Funny how quickly Carroll forgets...
