I just seen where Martins Ferry coaches ran Tom Bruney out of Ferry. The same coach who is now head coach of Brooke and playing for a state title this weekend. How dumb does the head honchos at Ferry look now?

I don't know if it is dumb or not.
Perhaps it's just better all the way around for the people involved.

Agreed..not necessarily dumb at all..don't know the circumstances..but just b/c he's succeeding at one school now doesn't mean he would have success at another school...example..the Hamilton Township coach..Bob Jacoby..had great success at Columbus DeSales..this year at HT..they went 0-10. No matter how great of coach you are..you have to have some talent.

Most all Rider fans are wishing Coach Tom much success with Martins Ferry North(tongue in cheek) , but your statement is vague at best and does not address any issue or issues that coaches at Ferry had with Tom. I think you would be better off not knowing those issues anyway after showing your propensity to believe more than half of what you "seen".

Tom Bruney is doing wonders for the Brooke program... Lets all give the guy a round of applause. Remember, Its West Virginia football, not Ohio. He probably looking at a 6-4 or 7-3 record if Brooke were an Ohio team... Still he's done a great job.

They have one thing at Ferry that only one other school has right now and that they no every year they have the same head coach. The head coach makes it go. Ferry, Big Red they have a good thing. Assistants can be replaced.
