Fat Albert has just been suspended by the Redskins. He refuses to play on 1st and 2nd down and informed the GM today that he will no longer talk to the Head Coach. Plus it's being reported that he came to the game on Sunday with a hangover. Another good signing by Dan Snyder.

Question for the Bengal fans, since your team plays a 4-3, which Haynesworth prefers, and seeing how your team seems to always pick these type of veterans up, do you see Cincinnati going after him? Would he fit what your d-line does?

Snyder, in a way, might be the most inept owner in sports. At least guys like Donald Sterling or the interchangeable baseball duo of Dolan/Nutting make it their focus to make money instead of winning, so there's an excuse for their crappy product. Snyder's a guy who throws money in an attempt to win, but always seems to be .500 or below. It seems his idea of building a winner is to buy a lot of expensive big-name parts with no concern as to how they fit together.

I read he's suspended without pay. Don't know if the union will try to step in or not, but so far, no he doesn't. From what I read, it's $3.5 million that he's losing. Guess an individual player shouldn't decide he only is playing under what he considers the ideal situation for him, regardless of what the rest of the team thinks.

Haynesworth is a joke. He's exactly what is wrong with professional sports. He "got paid" and then he quit caring. That's not to say Shanahan is totally without blame. He handled this situation pretty poorly himself. Plus when your franchise dumps a bunch of its' cap space on a 4-3 defensive tackle, it doesn't make any sense at all to switch to the 3-4 and say "oh you're a 4-3 DT? You need to become a 3-4 DT and completely change the style you play."

snyder has an itchy trigger finger so this whole ordeal may be sealing Shanahan's fate as well.

If I refused to work 50-60% of the time and told my boss I wasn't talking to them anymore, I wouldn't just be suspended...This loser deserves worse.

I absolutely hate Albert Haynesworth. Regardless of how Shanahan has handled it, Albert has definitely been a lazy, fat POS.
