I've wanted to find that picture ever since they showed him doing that on ESPN last night. One of my favorite Ohio State pictures of all-time instantly.

I was pissed when that guy tried to take his knee out on the TD last night...

Heyward was a BEAST and helped pull our D through that one.

Great to see us get a big one when we realy needed it

It was awesome to see Heyward after that play. He was so excited even I became a little excited that they won lol. Talk about emotionally invested in the game. Guy cannot be replaced.

So it was that one play that cost them the game? Not getting owned in the first half and being down by 18 at halftime? Dumbass.

They were still in position to win the game. They had a full minute left on the Buckeye 18 and all the momentum in the world. Mallet threw an ill-advised pass and that cost Arkansas the game.

HAHAHAHA, I was so pissed I forgot I posted that. Thankfully my balls are still in tact, no one took me up on the bet.

After having the day to calm down after this game, both sides played sloppy football (Arkansas in the first half, OSU in the second). The better team won. You could easily play the "if" game for Arkansas, but you could easily do the same thing for OSU. "If" Boom doesn't fumble on 4th and 1, OSU likely runs the clock out. "If" the punt isn't blocked......if...if....if. It's all part of the game and as CBF said, it all evened out in the end. Arkansas was a helluva team, they just got beat by a team that was a bit better. No shame in it.

Totally agree. I understand that he should have picked up the ball and tried, but fans are acting like this cost them the game. They still have the ball at the 18 with an All-American QB and over a minute to go. It's not his fault that Mallet through an interception. It's like Bartman(although not a player obviously) with the Cubs, Buckner with the Red Sox, and Hamby against Texas. Although they all made costly mistakes, people forget that the TEAM had opportunities after these mistakes to win their respective games and/or series, but the TEAM failed to make the plays necessary to win.

Mallett was exposed big time. I have no idea how Mallett had those numbers in the SEC. Mallett single handedly finally convinced me dual threat QB's are the way to go in College football.

In the 1st half the whole Arkansas team looked like deers in headlights. Give Arkansas credt they came out fired up in the 2nd half. Ohio State had terrible field positon in the 2nd half. Tressel wil not risk making a mistake deep in his own territory with a lead. Get used to it. How many games has Tressel lost VS won playing not to make mistakes with a lead in the 2nd half of games. He has always had confidence in his defense winning games.

Big Gain- I am curious how Mallet was exposed. IMO, it looked like his line couldn't block for him and his receivers kept dropping balls. I'd like to hear your opinion.

Mallet was extremely immobile, has terrible footwork and his drop is WAY too shallow.

His arm and accuracy is spectacular though

True, but this was all known before the Sugar Bowl. I am asking Big Gain why he feels Mallet was exposed. What was exposed? We already knew he wasn't mobile in the pocket and it has been discussed by the "experts". Big Gain made the claim that Mallet was exposed, I am just wondering how he felt Mallet was exposed.

The mobility has always been discussed, but the bad footwork and his extremely shallow drops haven;t really been talked about. He also still loses his cool

Eh, I specifically remember his bad footwork being discussed before the Alabama game, maybe not the shallow drops (don't remember that being discussed), but I remember is bad footwork being discussed. Anyways, I'm still trying to figure out why Big Gain feels Mallet was exposed. Awaiting his response on the exposure of Mallet.

More than one draft evaluator after the game said Mallet's stock took a big hit. Everyone knows he throws a nice ball, except I thought there were a few he throw way too hard at a receiver 10 yards or closer when hurried. Ohio State's pass rushers are nothing like what he'lll see in the NFL. A good NFL QB must have the ability to avoid the first pass rusher that breaks free. Mallet has NONE of that ability.
