I'm a little surprised we aren't playing Brooke on the road in 2010. That would give us our seven home games. I guess we will have eight home games this year.

Last I heard, Brooke will not sign a contract with BR. Don't see us playing in Morgantown but at Whg Park that weekend.

I'm kind of torn on that Morgantown game...I guess it would depend on who they lined us up with in Wheeling. That WH game last year took a toll.

This is the schedule as I understand it from my sources. Please realize that this is still unofficial until the school announces it.

Week 1: Inkster (MI)
Week 2: Akron Buchtel
Week 3: Brooke (WV)
Week 4: Undecided
Week 5: at Morgantown (WV)
Week 6: Wheeling Park (WV)
Week 7: at Massillon
Week 8: Youngstown Ursuline
Week 9: Undecided
Week 10: Tonawanda O'Hara (NY)

From what I've heard (and this is strictly rumor), week 4 will be at home against a team from PA and week 9 will be at home against a Catholic school from DC. If all of this is correct, we will play eight home games and seven out-of-state teams.

Are you sure about St. Joe's? We have been playing them week 4 for a number of years. Back in November Reno said on TV that week 4 was open, so I assumed they dropped us after nine straight beatings. Also, St. Joe's plays O'Hara in week 9 every year. If your schedule is correct, then a number of schedules have been reshuffled.

How many returning lettermen do we have coming back? I should know this but I don't. And does anyone have any idea who the starting quarterback will be?

Seven out of state teams? Do all Ohio teams that play out of state teams have out of state players?

You'll know who the qb will be when they are done scanning the local schools rosters. Rumor has it , that its between a kid from Weirton and a kid from Pittsburgh.

I ask an honest question and get a dumb answer. Al, if you don't have anything intelligent to say, then keep your mouth shut.
