Michigan is up 13 on Clemson with 3:30 left. Illinois up 13 on UNC.

I don't really like the Big 10 match ups tomorrow though. Wisconsin will probably win at home, but after that I'd favor all of the ACC teams.

4-2 Big Ten. It's a shame Minnesota choked their game away.

Don't forget Iowa. They had an 18 point lead and coughed it up.

This thing should already be over.

We haven't taken our quota of sports beatdowns this month yet.

True, but I had no expectations of Iowa coming in. Minnesota should be ashamed of themselves.

Minny had two starters out and Ginny was on fire. Combine those two, there you have it. This one should have already been in the bag for the Big 10.

They got rattled by a big guy and it is a young team early in the year. Diebler and Lighty played well enough to maintain enough composer to win. They'll be fine.

With wins by Illi and Michigan tonight alongside OSU and NW, the Big Ten is up 4-2.

After watching the ACC the past couple of nights, I think the all ACC team will be the duke starters.

The Big Ten, overall, is 7-2 vs the ACC this year.

4-2 in the challenge alone.

The ACC will now have to win the four of five that some were predicting earlier in the week. Which, I think, although a difficult task, certainly is achievable. I like BC, Va Tech and Duke at home, in addition to either a tough-minded, Gary Williams-coached team winning in State College or an athletically gifted N.C. State team stealing one from Bo Ryan in Wisconsin. (As dominant as the Badgers are in Kohl -- I think they are something like a ridiculous 130-10 at home since the building opened -- I think the Wolfpack have the pure talent, if not the coaching, to make some noise.) However, because Sidney Lowe is the coaching, it will be Maryland that the ACC leans on to come up with a victory for the conference in The Challenge.

It will be an interesting night, and one that will be capped by a magnificent early season match-up between two coaching giants in Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewski. Can't ask for better basketball in early December.

Not sure choke is right word. I mean they had 2 starters out for this game. No question if they have one or both, they win. And the other win was a desperation 3 buzzer beater. The ACC is LUCKY to have 2 wins to be honest.

Illinois has seemed to impress in every game they have played in. Definitely wasn't a team I thought at the beginning of the year that would be in the top 3 in the conference but with Purdue slipping its looking like a real possibility.

Minnesota was up 10 at half and even more than that during the first half. I'll agree with choke not being the right word, but in no way was Virginia "lucky" to get a win. They came out in the 2nd half and dominated a team that was clearly better than them and got a W.

Injuries and suspensions and that all are part of the game.

Also, the Wake buzzer beat was a 3 with the game tied. So it was going to OT if he missed. Who's to say Wake doesn't come out and win in OT. But that's "luck"?

Minny choked. They were up like 16 at home and have much better players even without 2 starters. Virginia is not good.

I wont say Iowa choked even though they also blew an 18 point lead at home, because they were never the better team. Wake is probably slightly better than Iowa so that comeback isnt surprising.

But how does Minny blow that lead at home, when they have the better players, particularly on the inside. Ralph Sampson simply didnt show up.

LUCKY as in two starters out. Part of the game, yes. But how many teams on any given nite lose a starters, let alone 2 starters? RARE.

Correct, at Wake. Iowa played out of ass early. Then came back to earth real quick.

Indiana trying to chip away at BC. Came out from the locker room on an 8-0 run, lead is back to 10 now though.

Wisky up 40 on State.

That takes a little of the sting away from last night.
