We should fill the whole first page of the college football forum with Notre Dame threads if we haven't already.

I find it hard to believe a prestigious University like Notre Dame would ever go after a liar and/or a person who is dishonest at all.

How long until Lou Holtz tells the world the new coach was the best choice.

Lou should not be long in telling the world what a great choice this was and how the new coach will bring a national title to Notre Dame in a year or two.

Didn't Sweet Lou predict ND to be in the National Championship game?

If its Bob Stoops, he'll get things turned around. If he wins a title or 2, look for him to be around for a while

It depends on who they hire. I would say 5 years. The better question is this coach does not win like the fans expect will they finally conceed that it is the standards instead of the coach?

Judging by the amount of posts and threads, it seems fairly obvious that a few people on here care. Is there a Notre Dame thread that you haven't weighed in on?

The better question is....which happens first.....Notre Dame fires their next coach or the Dallas Cowboys win a playoff game?

Anyways, I think it's safe to classify this as an obsession now. Geez. Seek help. Immediately.

Probably 5 years unless the Notre Dame administration changes their expectations to bring them in line with the parity driven reality of modern college Football.

The funny thing is this weekend is one of the biggest college football weekends in recent memory IMO. Several big games to talk about. But, the same people that get tired of hearing about ND because they've stunk.....well, those are some of the same ones who continue to bring them up and talk about them. Makes sense, right?

This is why I can't understand all the attention ND is getting on the board here. I just don't think any coach still playing games would allow an announcement 'till at least the regular season is done. Especially if it's Bob. Idunno
