Thigpen, a sophmore, has a great game!
Key on teague all game, kemp and thigpen win it for the irish!
I expect a game similar to last years! and if you're from the valley and dont root for the irish, you should be ashamed of yourselfs. But its only one group of people so, oh well.

Is it possible that they could cheer for the kids on the Ursuline team from their own schools and not the actual Ursuline team?

You won't cheer for Campbell, but I bet you end up cheering for some kids FROM Campbell....Give it a second....You'll get it.

I will be at this game with -angel- and my friends from CW. My heart is with CW, but my gut says Ursuline will win. If there is a team who can knock off the Irish, I'd have to say it could be the Cavs.

A rematch of last years finals!

Ursuline with their fifth trip to the finals. They are looking to win #3 in a row, and their 4th title overall. Ursuline's first State Championship came over Coldwater. And their most recent came over Coldwater. I'm sure that's something Coldwater's coaching staff has been harping on this week.

Coldwater will be making their sixth trip to the finals. Their two State Titles have come in D4, and they are searching for their first D5 title.

Ursuline-Coldwater part 3. Should be a hell of a game!

Who cares if they lost to DSJ no one cares what they did in the regular season that was week 7 when they lost to DSJ this is week 15 and im sure both teams will be ready to play im seeing it being close the whole game through both I think Ursuline wins in a nail biter, but CW absolutely has a chance to beat Ursuline there are suprising upsets throughout the whole playoffs

Does anyone have info on strengths, weaknesses, star player to watch and kicking game info for both teams?

Lol it took less than a second, I know exactly what you meant. Shockingly, there aren't any Campbell kids on the team that I know of. Mooney has a couple though, but they were kids who never really went to Campbell to begin with (BCC). Our seniors made a pact in 8th grade that they would stay and change the attitude of Campbell football as they knew it and by God, they did. The reason they did? A sign they saw in Ursulines weight room when the coaches brought them in to lift with some players that read THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS. It really hit home for them...the felt they needed to STAY. I applaud them. It's a hard thing to do especially when one school had a 1-9 0-10 type rep and the other plays nearly every year for a ring.

I'm on board with Coldwater in this one.
If anyone can pull it off, it's the Cavs.

They were still 8th graders, and were all showered with shirts, towels, water bottles, hats, tickets and calls/visits from coaches.....but I'm sure all the potential incoming freshmen got that treatment.

by the way ursuline and mooney are getting alot smarter...it used to be they would start recruiting your kids in the 9th 10th grade...nowadays they go scout all the 7th n 8th grade games looking for young vulnerable talent. sweet system the ohsaa has set up.

Just curious, but why should people from the Mahoning Valley be required to root for Ursuline? I will be rooting for Coldwater and although it may have a bit to do with the public/parochial battle, its more to do with not personally caring for the coach or the way I've seen the team play a few times over the past few years. I don't like the guy, dont know many people who acctually do, and I really dont care to see him win.

Teague with 192 rushing at the half. Coldwater barely has 100 yards of total offense.
