Talked to a guy close to me that said Coach Haley will be coaching next year.
There are 2 times in which I like Michigan....
1. When I go to the U.P. to fish..
2. Each year they continue to stink vs. OSU!
Good Luck TIM!

Series62 is going to organize the trips this year to see Max play and to watch Tim's new team.

I think Tim will have much success as he is committed to being a "LEADER" of young men first, the X's and O's second.OrrvilleQB;661168 wrote:Series62 is going to organize the trips this year to see Max play and to watch Tim's new team.
Organize to watch Max?! Those jokes you're making about Max's lack of playing time aren't too funny you know!

Congrats to Max. What a program in Lincoln...it goes way beyond football. It is pretty cool the Red Riders currently have two Big Ten teams represented. Great job to our Coaches/staff. Keep up the good work! To the kids in the program....get to work! Us Rider fans cannot wait until August!

Offense Position Coach was McGrew and Brenner. Defense was Haley and Brenner?

AS I think back to a normal practice...Coach Mcgrew would be the position coach for the DE's. On occasion coach Brenner would assist ( against spread teams)

I cannot. Wait for week one. You can count on one thing out of northwest this year. They will have a punter and punting game. Lol. Was that not pitiful last year.. we lost 4 games do to special teams. I know that whitting will fix that.. I love playing orrville. Good luck to the redriders after week one.

It can't get here soon enough!! I always enjoyed playing Northwest, I was a sophomore when we put them back on the schedule and they were supposed to beat us (some were saying by 60 points) Fired us all up, and we beat them in OT. Sidenote, about Punters....I still for the life of me can't understand my very first varsity play. I was the punter, and the snap went about 25-30 yards over my head and just kept rolling...I ran back to pick it up and there is a NW player standing right beside me.....why the guy from NW didn't block my punt I have no clue....instead he stood and watched me boot it 70 yards, but was only about a 38 yard punt (because of the bad snap). What could've been their ball at the Orrville 25 yard line...it was first and ten at the NW 10. For my very first varsity play ever, it was really exciting. lol!

Love the Indians on our schedule. Glad you got the levy stuff out of the way. I know the Indians have the big QB back and had a fairly young team. You lost the MLB (Hutchins???) who was tough. You don't get them like every year. Tell us about the '11 Indians.

Northwest should be loaded up pretty good. . We were very young last year. There's a good chance last years qb wont be the starter. He has to improve and work hard to keep the spot. There is a kid will be a soph. Next year that's pretty good. We will be pretty big and experienced up front and fast and physically tough in the backfield. Will be a totaly wide open team. Should be a fun year for the indian faithful
