^That rung his bell. He just had to replace Saldana from Eldora's wreck in a car he owns, he knows the risk of getting hurt. Ironic the guy who accidentally caused the wreck got the seat. I hope Joey isn't out long, he's missing the 'month of money'.

Billy Johnson won the Grand Am Continental race today at N.J. in a Roush Mustang. Tomorrow in the Rolex he will co-drive the Turner Motorsports GT #94 BMW live on Speed tv.

MichaelWaltripRacing looking to enter Grand Am. They want a pair of the new GT Ferraris and run the full series next year. I wonder if Ferrari can build enough of them. The word is 4 of them in the 24 at Daytona.

On the road to history?

http://www.nascar.com/news/110729/retro-season-winners-record/index.html
Counting other former winners and any lurking first-timers, there's a real possibility that we could see a year in which nearly half the field could go home with at least one winner's trophy by the time the checkered flag flies at Homestead.

Last time he started in the rear he turned in a great race, hopefully he does it again.

Great race. Timothy Peters is from Danville, Va. where my woman is from. He won a big race at Martinsville when I was working there. I saw his upset win at Daytona last year, but I was up in the stands. Peyton Sellers from Danville deserves a big time ride too.

Damn shame about Pastrana, he can bring new fans to Nascar. His facebook pg has almost 3 million likes. His first shakedown practice in a car was at New Smyrna last year.
