I think if you have the Cleveland local channels then the Steelers won't be on.

For example in Youngstown on WKBN/CBS the Steelers will be on.

Ok just wondering because I noticed that the Pittsburgh/Buffalo game was on in my region. I live 60 miles from Cleveland though.

I love Thanksgiving week. I get to watch all but 3 NFL games this week from the comfort of my living room.

Fantastic.

true although with three games compared to one, there's more chance you'll have somebody important to either start/sit

I know it's tradition, but why is Detroit on Thanksgiving every freaking year?

Because they started the tradition and have refused to give it up. It was nothing about football. They always hosted Green Bay on Thanksgiving for their local fans. Television has simply dictated that it become a nationally televised game. And the CBS/Fox swap dictated years ago that Green Bay be replaced every other year with an AFC team to let CBS air the game. And finally Green Bay decided they didn't want to play even every other year as they felt it was an unfair advantage to Detroit.

Most of the markets along the river switched their early FOX game from Favre to Browns.
