I know there were a lot of posters who thought TP would be better than TS. Anyone still feel that way?

We're playing a drinking game in my apartment. For every bad throw by Pryor we take a drink...

There have been a few bad throws, there have also been too many dropped passes of really good throws... I'm looking at you Posey.

Hines just blew up Robinson.

I agree that it should have been a flag... but I'll take it.

Plus, it was in the middle of a bunch of linemen... tough for the refs to see that one. From above it's pretty easy to tell though.

actually as good as T Smith? No. But if he had Gonzo, Ginn, Holmes, he would have the same type of numbers that Smith put up.

There were a few posters who said it. Just a question. I was just making a comparison. Smith for the arm and Pryor for the legs. But overall, T.Smith.

He has never progressed where I had hoped with his passing. He is very inconsistant and still makes some really stupid throws. Of course Troy's JR. season he gave the Penn State game away. ( I realize Pryor has had much more tiime at this point). I will say this. If Pryor can have a Monster Senior season and bring a title home. People may view that differently or at least a lot closer.

Lets see, he is going to shatter every OSU QB record, including Smith by the time he is finished. His team is currently 10-1. He won a Rose Bowl, and was MVP. Smith never won a BCS game as a starter. Is he better right now then Smith was as a SENIOR? No. Will he be next year? Thats yet to be determined.

This isn't track and field. None of the accolades or records mean anything.

Terelle is going to have to have a NC game appearance for people to say he was better than Troy.

Oh yeah, probably better throw in a Heisman as well

No, wins don't. There are 84 other players on the team.

without pryor, this team would be lucky to win 7 games. We would lose to Miami, Iowa, PSU, Wisconsin, and add in another random loss such as illinois, michigan, or purdue

Big deal. He's the starting quarterback, every team can say that.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about the question. I wouldn't trade Pryor for very many QB's in the entire country.

I agree with most of this, but Troy Smith did win the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame.
