Going into playoffs fantastic 50 has Clear fork in championship game then when clear fork loses he throws the rest of region 14 under the bus.

Pit definitely has watched his share of High School football.....the only problem is he wears glasses with those purple lenses and a WCAL rim around them. His sight is skewed and he cannot see the big picture beyond the PAC or WCAL.

Just messin with you as usual Pit.

Good luck to the Red Riders! My hope is that my Alter Knights can beat Bishop Hartley and we get to play Orrville for the championship. Gotta win this week first!

5knots, There's no doubt I have purple glasses on when my team is playing. :-) Otherwise I try to be as impartial and fair in my thoughts and discussion as possible. I am trying to weasel my way out of watching my girlfriend in a parade on Friday night so I can watch the Red Riders again! I am gauging the amount of anger and temporary animosity that would generate with her, though. Hmm... She's telling me to "go to the game" but I know she wants me to watch her in the parade (alumni band performance in Conneaut, OH). Fellow men and women of OhioChatter, what should I do?

Biggest question of all................

What uniform set do we wear this week??

We're home team, so red jersey is a given.

We're 5-0 when wearing red jersey/black pants
We're 0-1 when wearing all red.

I'm not a huge fan of the black pants, but I also don't like going against an obvious statistical fact.

Wear the black pants!! - yes, I'm converted.

I'll await the "IT SHOULDN'T MATTER WHAT WE WEAR!!!!!111111!!!!1111" posts. If we're going to talk amongst oursevles for the next 4+ days, we better be prepared to discuss all the minute details.

riders1,
I just tested all the drop down menus on my site....they're working fine now. Had issues with them last week but all is well.

If you choose winter parade over playoff football, you'll set a dangerous precedent for years to come.

I guess there's an Orrville grad that now has a kid on the Alter football team? Or at least in the program at some level.

You don't have to like my predictions.
We don't :) , and your comment made me go back and look at my game totals for the last 3 years, and I stand at 79 games and will see 8 more this week and next, to finish off 3 years at a total of 87 games :)

As for Pittman you better go to the game or you will regret it down the road. I do not care what we wear friday night as long as we take care of the ball and come away with the W baby! I hope the Red Curtain continues to dominate!

Mentor Lake Catholic vs Maple Heights game will be on STO this weekend. Shoot. Was hoping they might sneak our game in there. Maple/MLC will be a great matchup regardless.

It's all clear to us now about your problems...since you dream of teenage boys with their pants down.

Wonder where mototurd went, hope he got the message to stay the heck away from our threads.

Pitman, you know your football, just don't know how to pick games :) but like you said we want you to pick against us this week....superstitious.

Go Riders you make a very Good point. At this time of year we can't be worried about getting young guys plays so they can letter, we need our best players out there if we want a chance to win this game. That includes special teams. I did like the move to put Tanner at kickoff last week.

speaking of the kick off team. i was watching the film with my boys, which is alway fun because they look at completely different things that I do, and we(they) noticed 22, I think it is Tyrone White (sophomore) just flying down field 5 yards in front of everyone else. He lowered the boom and a piece of something or someone goes flying about 10 feet on the air. What a collision and what a gutsy way to play for a sophomore!

But I did go 20-3 as the Daily Record guest picker, beating the entire panel and winning all 3 prizes. :) And I picked Orrville over Wooster. LoL. But for the playoffs, I may continue to pick against the Red Riders for tradition's sake. Haha!
