I see this went over your head, I was mocking you calling my post idiotic. You see what i did there? Changing idiotic to cry baby? Do you get it? Need me to spell it out for you more?

Wait...you're actually reporting me for calling you by your other name...and yet you call others a cry-baby. You've got to be kidding me CoA. What a douche. Talk about can't taking it. Quit trolling on here using those names (or any others you've made up) and I'll try not to hurt your little feelings again.
Back to the Pens. The talk is increasing about getting Kovie. Not sure if this will help the Pens all that much but if it doesn't cost more than a 3rd round pick, I say go for it. Other than that, I'm not giving up the future for someone as old as him.

Kovalev (OTT), Hemsky (EDM), and Voracek (CBJ) have caught the Penguins eye.

It didn't go over my head, I knew exactly what you did, the same bullshit when you label anyone who disagrees with you on a Pittsburgh thread a cry baby. You're act is lame COA, you know "fail".............you understand that term, right?Raw Dawgin' it;680934 wrote:I see this went over your head, I was mocking you calling my post idiotic. I agree. If you can land him without giving up some very good prospects then do it. Pittsburgh needs another NHL quality forward badly, even when Sid does come back.

Big win last night, even if it was against a sub par Colorado team.

Which means Kunitz or Asham will probably be back in the line up. It would be nice to get both of those guys back and soon.The_Crosby_Show;681938 wrote:Tim Wallace has been sent back down to WBS

N. Johnson, Vitale, and Sterling with the way they've been playing have made Dupuis, Talbot, and Rupp expendable in my eyes.

Expendable.........especially Max Talbot? I know you don't care for Rupp but if you get rid of Dupuis and Talbot what do you think will happend to their penalty killing? Plus, Dupuis plays well with Crosby and Talbot is a jack of all trades who's never played on one line for an extended period of time. Those guys are too important to deem as expendable.The_Crosby_Show;682599 wrote:N. Vitale works non stop all the time, while Max shows up when he wants to. Max has clinged on to his game 7 performance long enough.
Nick Johnson work harder, he's faster, and has a hell of a lot better hands than Rupp.
The only thing Dupuis has on Sterling is the fact that he's bigger than him. Sterling is just as fast and his hands are 100X better than Pascal "Hands of Stone" Dupuis.

Can those guys kill penalties at the NHL level? NO!The_Crosby_Show;683055 wrote:Vitale works non stop all the time, while Max shows up when he wants to. Max has clinged on to his game 7 performance long enough.

Vitale, yes he can and very well.
When the hell does Rupp play on the PK? Never.

Talbot is a free agent after this season. I doubt he'll be back anyway next year.

Somebody will give him 1.5mil+ which is more than he's worth.

I'm not talking about Rupp, I know he doesn't kill penalties but Dupuis and Talbot do and are extremely good at it. If Sid is lost for the year, Pittsburgh's only chance to advance in the playoffs is to play sound defense and continue to kill penalties at an alarming rate. The WBS players don't offer that.
BTW, Talbot's not going anywhere, he's an integral part of this team and a locker room leader.

Talbot is long gone after the season. Vitale, Jeffrey, and Letestu are better than him and having cheaper contracts. Somebody will pony up 1.5-2mil a season for a him, along with Dupuis. I am thankful for his performance in game 7 but, I won't miss him.
Lines I want to see next year:
Kunitz-Crosby-Jeffrey
Tangradi-Malkin-Ryder (UFA)
Cooke-Staal-Kennedy
Adams-Letestu-Johnson
Vitale
Orpik-Letang
Martin-Michalek
Gogo-Engel
Bortuzzo

According to Pierre LeBrun, Pitt along with 2 other teams are the front runners for Kovalev.

We can agree to disagree, Max Talbot will be resigned by the Pens, he's too valuable.

I was just looking at the standings in the East and I have to laugh at some of the so called experts who have been saying the Pens are in a free fall. Yeah, times have been tough without Sid, Geno and the multitude of injuries but Pittsburgh is still only 5 points behind Philly for the conference lead and have more points than Tampa Bay and Boston, who occupy the second and third spots only because they lead their divisions (shitty rule IMO). 6-4 in their last 10 games isn't too bad considering what has happened to the team in the last month or so. If Crosby can get back in to the lineup and Shero pulls off another trade deadline deal, this team is poised for another Cup run behind a very good defense and goalie.
