Pens and Rangers tied at two goals a piece midway through the game. Pens were down 2-0 and came back to tie it with goals from Jeffrey and Rupp.

Pens win in a shootout. Without Crosby, without Malkin, without Letestu and without Staal for part of the game and somehow the Pens manage to beat the better Lundqvist.
You'd think that as often as some posters are wrong, they'd just leave this thread and site in shame.

Pens win in a shoot out. What a goaltending duel between Fleury and Lundqvist, the shoot out went seven rounds with Jeffrey finally getting the game winner and Fleury making the game winning save.
BTW, Jordan Staal was ejected from this game, match penalty.......didn't get to catch what happened.

What's funny is the "how will they score" prediction because Sid is out........they played not only with out Sid and Malkin tonight, but also with out Staal who was ejected and didn't play the majority of the game. I know man. I don't know why we even bothered playing with the Pens 2 top stars out, then the guy who's replacing one of them is now out indefinately, then our 3rd best player gets ejected and our goalie is worse than their goalie.....the Pens should have just ceded the 2 pts to the Rangers and stayed home. He's such a tool.

Staal got thrown out for a sucker punch he threw on Prust. Staal was upset with the hit on Kennedy, Prust saw Staal coming and gave him and elbow and Staal hit him in the face and took one of the biggest dives I've ever seen.

I was suprised by this. I would normally think Staal is a sissy.

Watched from about mid 3rd to the end last night, the goal tending in the SO was sick. For such a talented goal scorer I'm surprised Gaborik sucks so much in SO, 2-19

I'd hope they'd beat the rangers, NY has one semi elite player and no top defenders; but if the pens lost to a mediocre team like NY i'm sure you'd all be complaining it was because you were missing you 2 best players.

On to more important things........Pens host the Islanders tonight. Malkin may play and Staal may be suspended after last nights match penalty, I believe the Pens appealed the automatic and immediate one game suspension that comes with a match penalty. I'll post any updates when available.

Yeah, I'm going to give you a goal and a half against a team the Pens have traditionally struggled with and the Pens just played a hard fought OT game last night on the road.:rolleyes:
