Pittsburgh sports radio reported that Crosby did not attend an optional skate at the Consol Energy center today. Must still be feeling the effects of that concussion.

Totally agree, bruins put up 5 in the 3rd for a big win. Pens needed this kind of help in the standings with their struggles without crosby.

Pittsburgh will play the same lines they put on the ice the other night in Montreal. It didn't take Bylsma long to realize that Staal is better off centering Cooke and Kennedy, they will need to produce the same type of effort today as they did in their last two games. Malkin needs to step up his play big time and pick up the slack with Crosby being out of the lineup.

1-0 Pens with about 5 minutes left in the first period. MAF has been sharp especially early when he weathered some what of a storm.
