lol...I leave for an hour and this thing goes down the shitter....haha. Anyhow, I am not going to just ban people for shits and giggles. The protocol is not a bluff, but they have to cross the line. Art is a troll and he will get sent to the basement....give it time.

well lately....Art has been using some fairly vague references that are just baiting posts....it is tough to send a guy to the basement when he says something like " The game will be blacked out in Buffalo...that didn't happen two weeks ago...just sayin". What they dude on this thread did(i forget his name) was much more deliberate. It is a judgement call, but I am trying to give these guys a fair shake.

I think things have been better on here lately and even though we haven't got a few of the offenders that everyone is waiting on....they are aware and there trolling has subsided a good bit. You know as well as I do though...they will fuck up and in Art's case, he is one point away from Troll status.

I've been once. Great venue.

What I'm wondering is how many standing room tickets they'll sell when it comes time for the playoffs because there is basically standing room all around the seating bowl at the top level.

I was at the new arena last weekend for a show. The venue is sooooo much nicer than the old igloo...it is night and day.

Lemieux, Penguins To Host Winter Classic Alumni Game Vs. Capitals On Dec. 31
Mario Lemieux will be joined by fellow Hall of Famers Paul Coffey, Ron Francis and Bryan Trottier and “youngster” Bill Guerin as the Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni team takes on the Washington Capitals Alumni Dec. 31 at Heinz Field as part of the 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic weekend.

The Caps’ team will be led by Peter Bondra. Full rosters for the Penguins and Capitals alumni will be announced in the near future.

Staal Continues Progression
Bylsma said that Staal is still on track for his recovery time from the Nov. 2 surgery to repair a broken hand.

"Jordan continues to progress in the timeline that we had before," Bylsma said. "He's scheduled for another x-ray next week after having the pin taken out. There is calcification in his bone and we need to continue to see that next week in his scheduled x-ray. He'll keep rehabbing on his current course."
Bylsma was asked about a report by The Insider on Pittsburgh Sports, which said that Staal had another broken bone in his hand.

"If you're referencing an internet report that said there was another break, then that is not true," Bylsma said. "He's continuing on the same course. He has the pin out. There is calcification and we have another scheduled x-ray. We hope to continue seeing the healing that is taken place. He's on that rehab program."

That alumni game sounds incredible. Would be worth the price of admission just to see Lemieux play again.

Tickets for that Alumni game are just $25 and that also gets you admission to the Pens practice that same day. The Capitals are closing their practice to the public.......go figure, the "Stay Puft Marshmallow Man", aka Bruce Boudreau, must have something up his sleeve.

Mark Madden said that Kevin Hatcher, who played for both the Pens and Caps should playhalf the game for each team and let the opposing players skate around him and score for old times sake, lol!
