Penguins have 18 losses, so i'm right 39% of the time. Those are good odds according to vegas.

3-1 Pens after two periods. Detroit imposed themselves in that second period and Fleury was massive but he Wings finally scored only to have Pittsburgh respond 30 seconds later on a goal by Kunitz.

Pittsburgh defeats Detroit by a score of 4-1, Matt Cooke adds an empty netter. Big game by MAF tonight, I believe he had 34 saves. Once again the line of Staal, Kennedy and Cooke played another outstanding game.

Geno is out with an undisclosed injury. In the Post-Gazette it said he wasn't "feeling well". It's gotta be the flu.

Impressive how they've been able to win without their captain. I dont expect them to keep it for much longer, do you think they let their guard down against the Devils? I wouldn't be suprised if they did.

I highly doubt it. The Devils are bad.....really bad. I'm always hearing from a co-worker about how much they suck. Prudential is a nice arena though...

What is the deal with Crosby anyway? Did he have a serious concussion?

Hell in the NFL you can sometimes play a week later. What has he missed already...5-6 games?

In Baseball the guy from Minnesota lost almost an entire season from a concussion. The catcher or the 1b, I dont remember which, but their best player.

Malkin has a leg injury. He's had trouble with knees/legs the last couple of years...might explain his points decline.

In other news...in the next round of auction items of things you can buy from Mellon Arena is the toilet from Mario Lemieux's suite. Pretty stylish if you ask me. I'll be curious how much it goes for.
