Unreal how these NHL coaches hide injuries. Radio reported Malkin had an upper body injury, ha.

Regardless, he didn't make the trip to NJ and the Pens will have to dig deep because the Devils have been coming on as of late.

In a terrible area though.

2-0 Devils. The Devils have a 1-4 forecheck which is a trap.

Not much you can do when the Devils played a 0-5 forecheck most of the night.

NJ finally realized it's the regular season. They have won 4 of their last 5 games. Not surprised by this win.

Going to the game Sat. Not confident that either Sid or Geno will be in uniform.

Tough loss last night. When the Pens have to play catch up against Brodeur he always seems to have their number. Regroup and get ready for tomorrow night.

No, Brodeur sucks this year.

It's the combination that Sid and Geno were out to go along with the fact that Byslma is a tard when it comes to playing against a trap.

I'm not talking about his entire career. He's flat out terrible this year. His record is 9-18-2 with a GAA of 2.87 and a SV% of .894

There's no doubt he's coming to the end of his career but for some strange reason, he seems to get the best of the Pens. I think they showed a stat on the ridiculous amount of shutouts he has against Pittsburgh. I know he plays them more than most teams because they are in the same division, going back to the old Patrick Division days too, but even with all of Pittsburgh's firepower over the years he's been able to stone them. I'd wonder how many one goal games he's won.

You keep saying Pittsburgh struggles against trapping teams and I agree to a certain extent but look at the box score, the Pens had the better stats except on the scoreboard, which tells me Brodeur stood on his head. He just has Pittsburgh's number.

All of the shots taken were low % shots.

It's easy to realize that Bylsma doesn't know how to counter a trap. He has terrible records against Minnesota and NJ who are both trapping teams.
