The namecalling doesn't bother me, I always just kind of wondered why some people resort to namecalling, I mean, I assume we are all adults on here. Right? The basement is perfect for that kind of thing.

Rocket kinder and more gentle? I don't know. I'm waiting on smarter and more intelligent.

Do you guys meet sherm halfway to pick up your scripts, kinda like the old film exchange, or does he just email them to you?

I see this topic is hot as ever ..It was sad to see the vote go down by a slim margin a few weeks back ..I really would like to see a great matchup bettween Youngstown and some other very good D-1 schools ..As well as a few other schools that should jump a few divisions..Things would be more competitive, and small schools like shadyside wouldnt get 70 dropped on them in a title game from some small college team.....

Small college team...REALLY? Please tell us all that you're just stiring the pot with this comment & not just showing total ignorance with this statement. The reason Shadyside got a 70 point beat down dropped on them was because they stunk that day, plain and simple is that they were beaten SOUNDLY by a better team.

Delphos St. Johns plays in the MAC ( Coldwater, Versailles, St. Henry..etc.) who year in and year out play some of the most competitive football in the state. To your point, what division would you have St. Johns go to with an enrollment of 97 boys there genius?

First of all Im not stirring anything that hasnt been overcooked... Im not ignorant.. I do think you are in denial.. I used a little sarcassm with the small college comment but please.. I saw the size of those Delphose kids compared to Shadyside .. Same thing with your Mooney team ..You guys only have what? 400 kids in the whole school and you have one of the biggest and best teams in the entire midwest very often .. Look it is what it is .. I think with Delphoses success they should move up 1 division and your team shopuld also move up atleast one division ... I am open to Big Red jumping a division with the success that we have had as well .. That was the idea that the commitee put to a vote and failed to pass narrowly ..I can debate with you in a grown up manner without personnel insults .. I admire the Mooney program you guys have one of the best in the USA ..Ursulin has been stepping up a good bit of late as well ..It doesnt take a genius to figure out all the best football players or most anyway in your area go to those two schools .. The system is set up specifically in your favor.. you might as well ride it .. I would ... But If I were you I would actually want my team playing for the D-1 title .. I truely believe you guys would win it from time to time .. just not as much as you run D-4 and D-3 ..It is what it is .. I speak the truth I have no agenda I want my team to be noticed on the national level at some point like yours is

Sorry, but you are ignorant. How is it OK for Shadyside to beat a small Catholic School by 56 points, but when they get beat by 61 the entire world needs to be turned on it's head, according to you and the rest of your "everybody gets a trophy" crowd?

And I didn't see any posts from you lamenting Fremont St Joe's 60 point loss to McComb in the same D6 playoffs

Face it, some teams really shouldn't have even been in the playoffs.

Now go back to licking your wounds from the pasting Mooney put on you a couple of years ago, and move on

first of all we are talking about a state championship game in the great state of Ohio in which you must beat 4 opponents just to get to the title game ...It aint a regular season game when you are playing some very poor teams ...Ignorant HUH!!!! I have more football knowledge in my pinky than you have I cant make you believe the truth or persuade you to modernize your thinking and so be it .. It is you that are as you say ignorant

As the son of a football coach...and a guy that grew up watching football my entire life and playing until I was told that I am no longer allowed to play...yes, I know all of those things. But thank you for trying to quiz my football IQ.

What does any of that have to do with the fact that teams get blown out in playoffs all the team, regardless of private vs. public? So just because two teams meet up in the state championship they are the best two teams? I don't know if you know this, but that doesn't always happen. Sometimes the two best teams are in the same region...or meet BEFORE the state championship game. So your logic is flawed. But good try though.

Wanna throw out some more terms to try to make yourself seem smart? How about bump-and-run? Shovel pass? Counter trap? Pulling guard? Whatever you feel you need to throw out there to try to look less silly is fine by me. But just so you know...it's not helping.

Dude you are sweet! You have so much football knowledge. Can't believe you know what a cover two is. Oh wait that's what they play in junior high. You can also catch a pass no way are you some kind of legened Mr. internet tough guy?

This has made my day that was classic comedy so glad that thinthickbigred has come out of seclusion. Also at 16 I believe most of us were playing actual football and chasing girls while you were competing in your local punt, pass, and kick tourney.
