profiling would be great, if it worked, but the last two people to fly planes into building were both White Americans (Tampa in 2002 and the guy who flew the plan into the IRS building a year or two ago in Texas), and McVeigh was neither Muslim or Middle Eastern.

Pants, how are dogs more effective?

you would need a hell of a lot of dogs. plus places to keep them, feed them, train them. not to mention, could you even train one dog to smell everything, or would you need one dog for certain types of items/explosives etc? plus, how will a dog detect a knife? it cant. sorry, dogs are not the answer.

Imagine your daughter's images being saved and leaked online, despite assurances from the government that absolutely no images are saved, in even higher and greater detail. This would still be okay with you? We've seen that the government does store these images and they are leaked online. As you can clearly see, without the face being blocked out everyone would know who this guy is. This is still not a privacy concern for you?

uhhh, your scared of people seeing that image?

I don't have a problem with the x-ray scanner but I do have a problem with the pat downs.

So if we went to dogs sniffing out potential problems... would that count as a "job created" ?

Didn't they fly their own planes? How would the full body scan prevent either of those incidents?

You won't be the only one. It's either everybody has to do it, or nobody.

I have in my body from being wounded shrapnel fragments in my head, back and leg, small but still very visible via x-ray.
My question is ….. What additional problems and delays will this cause?
I can see where this could create a huge problem for me ….

Anyone planning to fly the 24th? That's the day of the supposed National Opt-Out Day. I wonder how long the security lines will be.

I'm not flying on the 24th but I plan on opting out of the scan when I fly to Mexico in December.

you should tuck your weiner under your gooch, so that when they go down there they feel nothing...just give them a gay smile when they look at you in confusion

Even better would be for a dude to pull The Crying Game trick. Dress up like a woman, refuse the scan and get a female inspector - then drop trou.

So, with these new rules would you get in trouble if you stripped completely naked for the security check? ;)

I want to just strip down to my underwear before the "enhanced pat-down." If it's going to be uncomfortable it's going to be uncomfortable for EVERYONE.

Just pop a Viagra. Make sure you are wearing clothing that exemplifies the result. Tell them your gay and request a female pat you down.

Some quick questions:

1 If you are gay, can you actually request a female and will the actually comply?
2 I am sure more than a few straight guys will be claiming to be gay if this is true, does the TSA not actually foresee this as an issue?

Interesting points, to tell you truth as a hetero male I'd prefer a female inspector, my regular doctor is male (and yes I've had the prostate exam) but I've visited a female doctor specialist who had "all-access" and I didn't have a problem with it.

Another isue is gay/lesbian TSA workers. I assume they exist, I'm sure many hetero males wouldn't be comfortable in that situation.

Ok we just passed through security at Jax. No pat down and no xray machine. All I did pass through the metal detector.

I never saw pat downs or anything at airports last month, until I got to customs. Now THAT was a joke.

haha which there is no proof of. BUT if you're really scared of the cancer, stop using cell phones, computers, going to the dentist, oh and flying since you are exposed to radiation while actually flying. but of course no one will do what i listed, they'll just complain about this and make it sound like its the end of the world.
