Tom Brady.
I'd even say Peyton Manning with all the injuries.

IF he plays the rest of the year, I would say yes.

could not do more in those games

he's off the charts right now

and what's scary...not only does he have his legs back...he's throwing the ball as good or better than Brady and Manning

If he keeps up this play, of course. Right now, I think he's in the top five or so with P. Manning, Brady, Rivers, and C. Johnson.

Vick has more wins than Rivers.....

Right now I'd go:

1. Brady
2. Vick
3. Manning
4. Rivers

I was thinking same thing Pick, I assume he is talking about top 5 MVP candidates which would include Chris Johnson.

As of right now, he's top 3 with Brady and Manning.

Vick is showing out tonight, that's for sure.

The thread is about MVP, not quarterbacks. :)

I definitely thought he meant top 5 QBs too, I even looked up QB ratings to be sure I wasn't completely forgetting about someone.

The guy is playing ridic right now, so sure why not?

Of course, if Peyton Hillis keeps playing like he is, I'd give him a look.

He has to be on the short list, but there is still a lot of football to be played.

To think he's an unrestricted free agent this offseason...

If he stays healthy and plays the rest of the year and keeps putting up these insane numbers then yes I think he will be.

I don't think there is anyway Philly let's him go.

I also think they 1-up Washington's deal for McNabb by giving Vick quite a bit more.

The only Philly QB leaving will be Kolb.

If it ended today I would vote for Rivers. Missing the games he did its tough to vote for him IMO, plus the guy is a grade A fucking scum bag. Shouldn't even be in the league.

Vick plays like this the rest of the season, itll be hard for anyone to justify not giving him the MVP. Unless voters have the "but he killed dogs" frame of mind still

He should get a lot more than McNabb. He's unrestricted, so there will be plenty of teams going after him. I would imagine all of the following teams will be willing to pay him ALOT of money:
Philadelphia, Minnesota, Cincinnati(?), Buffalo, Miami, Oakland, Seattle, Arizona and Carolina.

So there will certainly be competition and his price will be pushed by someone.

He was definitely incredible last night. If he stays healthy and can perform remotely like that regularly, he's definitely on the short list of legit contenders for MVP.
