Alabama should be able to win this game if they can establish the running game and take the pressure off of McElroy.

Their defense is good enough to shut down Tebow and the overrated offense of Florida.

Depending on which SEC crew is there however, I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida win the penalty game.

If Cin. beats Pitt they will be above TCU. I don't think Neb. is good enough anyway.

Why is there such venom out there aimed at Tim Tebow? I think it is entirely possible that Alabama wins the game. They have a great team, they have a stable full of All-American type players including a real live Heisman Candidate, they have a fine coach, I mean,... it's all there. Here's what will happen if Florida happens to win the game. "Tebow gets all the calls". "Tebow wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for the players around him", "Tebow can't be a success in the NFL", "Tebow is too religious for my liking", "Nobody can really be like he claims he is", etc etc etc ad nauseum. To me it spells jealousy and unfortunately for some, a real live hatred for him. If Alabama wins, these same folks will say it was because "Our Heisman guy clearly outplayed overrated Tim Tebow", and that kind of comment will be, by far, the most civil. I've never really liked the Gators at all. Being a Buckeye fan, I have my reasons, most of them irrational, but I just don't really like Florida. That's why it is somewhat difficult for me to say, but I think I've got to root for Tim in this one, just to see what is said the next day on here. I will also tell you that if Alabama wins, I will consider it a case of the best team that day won the game and the second best team on that day, lost. Period!

ESPN College Gameday just showed a great story of Taylor Haugen, a 15 yr old who died from a ruptured liver suffered on the field catching a pass. Taylor was from Niceville, Fl. and dreamed of being a Gator. Tebow presented the Taylor Haugen Award after being asked by Mr. & Mrs. Haugen. Tim was inspired by the people who spoke to him about Taylor. Niceville is now 12-0, won last night and play in the state semi finals next week.
