If you are referring to Mason, his mindset is not on recruiting as he has some time...if you are talking about Max...I can't speak for him. All I can say is Husker Nation is unbelievable as to how they care for their athletes....unbelievable.

lol I like that answer, I want Mason focused on this week and this week only! I think if Max gets another big time offer he may change his mind, but I don't see that happening. I think he wants to go play with Chase Hoobler.
Glad you had a great time out there, and looks like you got to see a pretty good ball game.....didn't see you though, everyone was wearing red! haha

I would say Nebraska is a big time offer and he has had that since January.
pm me on any more with this stuff or we should probably take it to an Orrville only thread since this is the game thread.

I would say winning a state title indicates making noise....... With your language and you admitted ties to last years program. You would qualify under the F'in moron category. Wouldn't be surprised if last years senior class graduated from your school of disrespect.

But did he know they were going to be a part of the Big Ten back then, maybe that will have a factor. Either way I want BOTH of these guys worried about this week and not about college haha.
They need to be enjoying their games in the Red Rider Uniform, because wants you graduate you want to be in that Orrville uniform so bad! College football is nothing like Orrville football. We have something very special here!

Can we please stop discussing McCreary? He doesn't deserve being discussed on a football thread.

What else do we have to do. Not like we'll ever need to get ready for or have playoffs to talk about..............

Watching this game from last week between CF and Genoa....not really impressed through one quarter of play.
The QB just throws it up into triple coverage, lucky he didn't get picked off their. We just have to be ready for their quick passes to #10 and the playaction pass to the running back in the flats....Mason and Matt should be all over that route.
Turner and Simpson can go man up on their receivers, and we can load the box with 8 to stop that run game.
I think after watching the riders for 12 weeks now, it seems our offensive line takes a couple series to get going. We will need to be dominate from the first snap...

backside defenders have to be aware of backs out of the backfield......we cannot sleep on the backside.
I think if our d-line can get some penatration and take some blocks off our linebackers, Mason, Matt Cody, Max will be able to disrupt some plays in the backfield.

Defense doesn't really impress me.
McCune is fast, but we have about 4 guys who are faster than him on our offense, and Genoa had a rough time catching him when he gets to the edge....
The nosegaurd looks to be decent size.

Monheim will probably have another good game running the ball because he is a physical back like McCune.
Tre will need to run on a mission like he did against Wooster. Dancing around trying to juke out of tackles will result in negative yards! Run north and south and hold on to the ball!

Is the QB the one who moved in from a neighboring school? Looks like a pretty good sized kid but bad mechanics and lofts the ball up in the air (just asking for an interception)... some of those passes could and should've been completed if he would've thrown the ball on a line.
He doesn't run much either.

So from what I have seen they have about 4 bread and butter plays.
1. Dive up the middle with fb lead block
2. motion with pitch outside with motion man lead block/kickout
3. playation pass either fade/screen/flat route
passes downfield go to #10, rb gets the passes out of the backfield
4. Student body left, student body right....QB goes out to give lead block, they also have the same play where qb hands off to back, back hands off to reciever (#10) for a reverse and follows QB outside.
usually the motion man tells you which way they are going, but gotta read your keys.
I wonder if the comets will have as many penalties against us as they did CF....sheesh, plenty to choose from.
