I think maybe a little lesson here would be to respect the team that prevailed and give us a little space to celebrate with our fans? I mean the police were lined up on the 20 yard line and wouldn't let us go past that point, and over near midfield along the fence are a lot of our fans wanting to see their Riders. Genoa players would not move? Maybe a little birdie could drop a note the AD and pass that along.
Yea...picking nit I guess...but come on guys....take your mope fest to the locker room. I have no problem with kids being disappointed, but take it off the field. Makes me wonder what kind of lessons are being taught "beneath the candlelight." How about lessons of respect and that part of life is dealing with disappointment. Is that taught? Or is it just win, win, win, win, win (and be arrogant in doing so)....and the kids are totally unprepared to deal with a loss.
