Sheridan is the team that I didn't want Dover to have to play, but here we go.

If we plan on winning anything ever then we cannot fear anyone. I know Sheridan is gonna be tough to beat, but we will do it. I believe in Dover.

Zanesville, would bet money on it. Last time we played them it was Zanesville.

Zaneville was my guess too. )maybe we should have a pole for that as well).

I've said it before and here it is again: If we bring our 'A' game I think this team can play with any other D3 team(that belongs in D3)!
I'm not delusional enough to think we would beat a D5 Ursulane, but, IMO, they rightfully belong in D1 anyway based on the access they have to players.

Me too!

I hate to bring it up, but a lot of Dovers Sports seasons have ended at Zanesville on the 13th of the month (most are Fridays, however) superstition be damned!

Well, Dover does seem like its on the right track to ending all of the bad things that the playoffs have brought in the past. Even the blue devil can't stop us now!

Yeah... Storm or the FB that they had! Defense better pick it up for this game! Sheridan runs, runs and runs some more like LV did. We can't give up 400 yds every week and expect to keep winning. We need to keep our D fresh.

Congratulations on the win tonight, but I will warn you now, Sheridan is the real deal.

Scalpel football won tonight as Derrick passed with surgical precision much of the night.
We survived against a superb running game. I thought BR was amazing - so quick and SO MUCH good blocking!
Our D rose to the occasion a few times when we reallly needed it but by and large we must find how to step it up to move on.

That's kinda the thing about Region 11 this year...there are a bunch of 'real deals'!
And over the course of the next two weeks they will all have lost but one.

Their run game was relentless, their pass rush was effective, and even their supposedly weak passing game was pretty on-point when they went to it.
They fumbled a couple of times, one which Salem recovered, but they also picked off Toothman more than once.

Salem didn't play a perfect game, but even if we would have, it would have just been a closer game that I am not sure we would have won.

Sheridan is easily my pick for R11

While the Tri-valley scores show a vast diff in results, the two teams also played Cambridge two weeks apart. Sheridan was 42-6 and Dover was 45-7

Yeah... I don't think the Tri-Valley game is a good representation of how good Dover is at this point in the season. I think it will be another close game for Dover and with the same result. I did see Sheridan's schedule and including tonight's game they have scored at least 41 pts. every game. Wow! That is impressive with a run, run and run some more type game plan. I just don't see Dover giving up quite 40 pts next week and I think that will also result in Sheridan's first and only loss. I do think Sheridan will get their yards, but not score quite as much as usual. I think Dover will prove calpreps wrong again also. Right now, calpreps is picking Sheridan: 35-31. I predicted a 3 pt. game between Dover and Steuby(24-21). I think my prediction for this week will be: Dover-45 vs. Sheridan-35

Love how our Defense gets no credit. Yes our O scores over 40 a game. BUT if you look our D only gives around 7.. Crooksville got a season high 20 and we got dogged for that because they are D4.. We will see. The boys will be ready trust me. They were this week and it will continure on now.

I think it will be alittle bit warmer this week too.. :D

I'm sorry but I don't see Sheridan giving up 45 points, even if their pass D is supposedly their "weak" point. They picked off a "D1" qb multiple times against Salem. And for comparing the schedule thing, I don't think that's very fair because Sheridan usually has the backups in pretty much the whole second half after it is already 35-0. I do think that Dover can win this game, but that would take a lot of things to fall their way.

Sheridan will win this game by physicality, 42-21.
