Hey bases, what game were you watching?
Could have been 42? You were lucky to win the game. Let's see, Steuby
outscored you in the second half 14 to 10 after our coaching staff woke up and started blitzing. That's
10 lousy points in an entire half.
We were driving for the winning T.D. or field goal at the end of the game down around the 10 yard line, when a busted play forced our slow Q.B. to keep the ball and got stopped.
We had a total of 453 yards against you to your 388. We had 54 running plays for 286 yards ( 155 yds in 29 carries with a 5ft 9 in. tailback). You rushed 12 times for 52 yards; Q.B. contained on his rushing.
So, you can see just how close that game was; not the same game Bases saw at all.
No excuses, just facts you ignore; posted here for the Sheridan fans to see the real facts on that game.
So, if Sheridan pounds the ball on offense, blitzes on defense, and Dover is not still on a high from beating a very average Steuby team, Dover could be in for a long night.
I love to watch Dover play and hope they get to move on; have some family who live there but, it's posters like bases who give them a bad name.
Now you can come back with the old recruiting B.S. you keep posting. Probably have to wait until you get home from school. What time do they let out grade school there?
Cheers.
